Congrats! :)
Our Sith brothers enjoy creating missions to fly, but missions
are much more interesting when they have a coherent background plot.
This is where you come in. Your challenge is to write a background plot for the Sith to design a mission around. Any plot that is a good idea and well written may be turned into missions for the Sith to fly in the future. This is a great opportunity to see your writing used for something, and for the Krath and Sith orders to overlap. (Whilst we anticipate that mostly Krath will be interested in this competition, jedi of any order may enter.)

A briefing on what to do in the mission
The actual mission - probably easiest to write as a
conversation over the radios.
Describe combat scenes - the types of ships and what they're fighting. You don't need to be too specific - ie you don't need to say 'you are flying an Yt 1300 correlian transport equipped with these weapons blahblah..', instead say ' you are flying a transport '. Also remember to specify WHEN each radio message should be shown, ie 'after the last enemy craft is destroyed the following message comes over the radios...'
There are some basic factors to take into account:
The plot should not be too location specific - any Sith should be able to fly the mission, regardless of clan.
Don't make it too long - 3 pages max.
You don't have to worry too much about the number of ships on screen at any one time - that will be sorted out if the plot ever gets turned into an actual mission. Just keep it realistic - you don't want the Sith to be fighting off 5 super-killer-squadrons single handedly! e.g. say for a battle - 3 squadrons enemy fighters, one squadron friendly including the players craft, and a couple of space stations and transports to protect.
So as to not make this post too long, more details will be e-mailed to QUAs for anyone who needs to know what the player and other crafts can be equipped with. If you have any further questions about the technical side, please address them to Gord ([Log in to view e-mail addresses]).
Closing date is 26th July (4 weeks). Please send your entries in .doc or .txt to myself ([Log in to view e-mail addresses]) and Pred ([Log in to view e-mail addresses]) who will be checking the technical side for me.
Let me just repeat that we reserve the right to turn any of the entries into missions unless you say otherwise :)
That's it, have fun :)
