PCON COMPETITION BRIEFING

I have decided that I will send updates on current competitions/activities that are relevant to Clan Satal Keto. If you notice I have forgotten anything, please let me know. The purpose of this briefing is to compile the pertinent information into one place, thus, making it easier to track and disseminate.

I will circulate this as I see fit and do not plan to have regular release dates for it, so save them if you need to. Competitions (C) MUST be approved and activities (A) ...well, are just something to do.

COMPETITIONS WITHIN THE CLAN:

Title: Phase 1: Hit Me With Your Best Shot!

Specifics:

This is the first phase in a 2 phase competition, it is a "best screenshot

competition". Participants can submit up to five (5) entries total. There

are five supported platforms for this event so, you can submit five

entries for one game, one for each or any combination to total five. There

is no specific category...whatever you think is the best should be

submitted.

Title: CSK Kirleta Battle Group Competition

Specifics:

As I see writing, flying and other competitions, I notice an absence of

physical competitions. Now is the time to brandish your light sabers.

This competition is made in order to promote activity and increase

camaraderie within the two CSK Kirleta battle groups. All in all, the

objective is to have fun as well as learn new skills by playing. Let the

games begin.

COMPETITIONS WITHIN THE BROTHERHOOD:

1. Create and write some ancient (or even "modern") Sith/Krath Prophecy.

This could be done in any style - e.g. poetry - just an old tale being told about the prophecy. But you must actually create an entirely original idea for this. Creativity highly favored, and while humor is good. . . I'd prefer only serious entries. And, as always, extremely dark and creepy scores bonus points since we are Dark Jedi, after all. ;) A minimum of a page, despite the form. To be submitted to Ciara [Log in to view e-mail addresses].

2. Dark Jedi have problems too! Write at least 2 'Agony Aunt letters' from a Dark Jedi. These are letters that appear in magazines, often about teenage emotional problems, and are answered by an 'Agony Aunt'.

I keep experiencing anger at my porridge. I can't help it - it just annoys me. What should I do?!

Sith Mission Creation (C)

Our Sith brothers enjoy creating missions to fly, but missions

are much more interesting when they have a coherent background plot. Your challenge is to write a background plot for the Sith to design a mission around. Any plot that is a good idea and well written may be turned into missions for the Sith to fly in the future. This is a great opportunity to see your writing used for something, and for the Krath and Sith orders to overlap. (Whilst we anticipate that mostly Krath will be interested in this competition, Jedi of any order may enter.)

If you have any questions about the technical side, please address them to Gord ([Log in to view e-mail addresses]). Closing date is 26th July (4 weeks). Please send your entries in .doc or .txt to myself ([Log in to view e-mail addresses]) and Pred ([Log in to view e-mail addresses]) who will be checking the technical side for me.
