<The heavy blast doors closed as the last personnel entered the hangar bay and joined the chattering crowd within. It was now, when all the proud Sith and support staff of Galthain were at last present, that the purpose of this hastily called assembly became clear. Two hooded figures slowly emerged from a newly arrived Shuttle and began walking toward a small stage, which had been erected only a few, short minutes before the assembly began. The crowd grew instinctively silent as the duo approached the podium. It was evident that this was an affair of some importance, most probably the unveiling of the new leadership which had been awaited for so long.

One of the figures came to an abrupt stop midway across the stage; the other continued on to the waiting lectern and microphone. Once satisfied that the microphone was in working order, the figure cleared his throat, threw back his hood and prepared to speak. The crowd at once recognized the unmistakable face of DJK Vessicant, whose habit of standing at the back of assemblies had rendered his absence up to the present moment unknown. The second figure now revealed himself as SBM Waffennass.

My Dark Brethren and assembled support staff, we have just returned from the last in a long series of secret meetings with our illustrious Clan summits. They have declared me your new Quaestor, and WW your new Aedile. Together we shall lead this House into a new age of gloryand honour.

The coming weeks shall be trying, as the Clans of the Brotherhood shall soon depart the Antei system to establish themselves in surrounding star systems. I am fully confident that we shall find a world suitable to our needs and bend it to our will accordingly. It is only a matter of time and determination.

We must all direct our energies towards finding and securing our new homeworldand guarding it against others in the Brotherhood who may wish to claim it for their own.

Vessicants speech suddenly became more energetic and impassioned, Now is not a time for complacency, but for vigilance and unity. Only through the efforts of all of us shall Galthain rise to its former glory. We must be bloody, bold, and resolute if we are to conquer those who DARE to stand in our way. The future is now, and it is ours for the taking.

Vessicant banged his fist harshly against the lectern then drew and ignited his lightsaber bathing the stage in its eerie, green glow. Will you help me seize the future in our Houses name? Are you with me? Raise your weapons and declare it to the galaxy!

The crowd roared in unison while lifting sabers, blasters, and bare fists toward the ceiling. Vessicant stepped back from the microphone and held his lightsaber in front of his face in a salute to his comrades. He deactivated his weapon as he turned to WW and bid him make a speech of his own.>

<bow> For those who dont know me that well, Ive been a member of this House for my entire DB career (nearly two years). Theres a simple reason that Ive stayed in this House for so longITS A GREAT HOUSE WITH GREAT PEOPLE. Ive been content to stay more or less quietly in the background, writing fiction and flying SP missions, but I jumped at the chance to be House Envoy and have held that position for quite some time now. Now Galthain needs leadership, and I am delighted and HONOURED to serve in this faculty. Having said all thatthis is my first leadership experience, so I ask you all to bear with me :P

Together I know well make Galthain prosper.

The Report Itself:

News:

-First and foremost, I'm the new QUA and Waffennass is the new AED. <maniacal laughter for several minutes>

-Waffennass and I have both joined the ACC.

-I submitted for the Clan System Comp, Sith Mission Comp, and the JRDC. See? There's plenty to do around here.

-Besides that there's not really anything to report in Galthain this week. Maybe I'm just not being CCed stuff cause I'm the new guy?

At any rate, there's stuff to do, so....CHARGE!

Elsewhere in the DB....

-Rank titles above DJK have been changed for the Obelisk and Sith Orders.

Obbies are now: Champion, Sentinel, Crusader, and Templar.

Sith are now: Warrior, Warmaster, Warlord, and Overlord.

-The Antei Combat Center (ACC) is now operational. It looks like fun, you may wish to consider sneaking a peek and possibly joining as well :P Notable members from CSK so far are our honourable PCON Dalthid, Xura Verr, Waza Sunrider, Arso Slyth, Waffennass, and yours truly.

-There are two new courses in the Shadow Academy for your enlightenment. An IRC basics and a Meditation course.

COMPS you may wish to participate in (there are others, but I'll just list the most Sithian ones)

-The Clan System Comp.

Pssssst! Quick, the CON and PCON are watching, look busy!

It's really not that difficult, just come up with a few names for planets and moons and send them to Gord and Dalthid by the 27th. You don't have to name them all (24 total), but it would be nice. See the Clan reports for further info.

-Sith Mission Comp.
