Taldryan CON Report 7-27-03

Sorry my report is a day late, I made a trip to Canada with my friends Friday night…and lets just say I wasn’t up to report writing on Saturday, heh. Alrighty, report time…

DB News

-CoG and Guild changes; the DC and Consuls have discussed and come up with a new plan for these, here are the basics:

The CoG will be in charge of all external multiplayer aspects of the DB. The CoG will also be in charge of a multi-order elite GMRG that will replace the obelisk-only GMRG. A structure of Guilds will be created as a loose band of members who are committed to playing non-standard platforms (modded games, WC3, etc.). These guilds are additional to clan membership and will report directly to the CoG.

Firefox and Jac are now accepting applications for CoG, they are looking for someone who is stable and can take initiative. Apply to them if you think you’d be good for the job!

-The HRLD is now accepting submissions for the Dark Voice!! If you’ve been saving anything to submit, now is the time!

-The ACC has opened!! To go check it out and get started on participation, go to http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.org/dbjedi/acc/.

-CSP Invitational – Clan Scholae Palatinae is hosting a DB-wide invitational JK/JO competition. For details check the Taldryan message boards, where I pasted the original news post. It is a month-long competition, so I hope to see lots of Taldryan participation!!

-The OHC Cup tournament started last week, look for the next date on djb.org

-Interclub Training Nights will be held every Saturday, at 4pm, in #Outerrim, get in there and represent Taldryan!

Taldryan News

-Unfortunately this week Dinaari QUA Freshjive has retired as QUA. He did a great job even with a internet connection that didn’t always cooperate. He is still staying in Taldryan however, which I’m grateful for. Now for the open QUA position. This was pretty much a no-brainer, I’m just waiting for the official “ok” from the MAA. So, the new QUA of Dinaari is…Shaithis!! Congrats and I’m sure he’ll do an awesome job!

-PCON Chamberlain is back from leave (woohoo!), and you only have a few days left on the PCONs Monthly Run-on, so get writing!!

• Ektrosis is STLL very much in need of an AED. If you think you are up to par, please apply! Applications are to be sent to QUA Octavian ([Log in to view e-mail addresses]) and CON Kir Katarn ([Log in to view e-mail addresses]).
  

-QUA Octavian is on leave, and since there is no AED for Ektrosis yet, all Ektrosis problems/concerns/anything should be sent to me at [Log in to view e-mail addresses]
