...and right back into a lot of HM work.

First, props to M:HM Cuchulain and all the EPs for keeping this place in as good shape as it was (thanks a lot, Cooch, for the Twi'lek dancers you got me as a return present... what, you meant to enjoy them yourself? Sorry, tough luck).

Second, major slops to a specific person who thought that abusing my trust was a good idea... I won't mention names here, if you read this and you are the one I am talking about, you will know it. If you don't know what I'm talking about, you're not it ;-)

Third, a few global pointers because that's things that get done wrong a lot:

• Your history is about your character not your RL self. Histories of your RL persona will be declined, no exceptions. Think up a cool Dark Jedi instead.

• When doing tests, make sure that all items are filled in. You need 70% to pass and losing 25% for items you didn't fill puts you in a bad position to start.

• Make sure you understand the question before answering. I quite often have a good idea of what you meant to answer (and had that been the question, your answer would be right), but that was not what was asked...

• Oh, and make sure you send exams to be answered by mail to the right persons... sending them to the wrong folks will only lose you time.

Fourth, there's going to be yet more new courses (big surprise, eh ?) JaM3z has delivered a PHP course, I am just missing the exam questions for this one before being able to put it online. Work is being done on an ACC writing curriculum, a second stage of the IRC course and.... I'm not telling just yet. If you want to do courses, we wil have them for you.

Fifth, I have an idea floating around in my head about a brain stumper competition. This would involve weekly tough riddles and puzzles set in a SW/DB scenario and at the end of an eight-week season, scores will be totaled to find the winner. I just have no idea whether there'd be enough interest to make this viable, so if you would be interested in trying this, please post a short comment to this report or mail me.
