Taldryan CON Report 8-3-03

Alright everyone here it is, another exciting issue of my weekly report, so lets get right to it.

DB News

-CSP Invitational is now running, go to #scholae and ask for JK1/JK2 matches to earn points and medals, its an easy way of staying active, and I hope to see lots of Taldryan members participating!

-The Battlefield 1942 Mod, Galactic Conquest is now available for download!! I’ve looked at the screenshots and it looks pretty nice, so get to http://www.swbattlefield.jolt.co.uk for more details!!

-The HRLD is now accepting submissions for the Dark Voice!! If you’ve been saving anything to submit, now is the time!

-The ACC is up and running!! To go check it out and get started on participation, go to http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.org/dbjedi/acc/. I will be joining this week, so if you join you will be able to fight me very soon!!

-Interclub Training Nights will be held every Saturday, at 4pm, in #Outerrim, get in there and represent Taldryan!

Taldryan News

-We’ve lost another member this week, our PCON Chamberlain has decided it is his time to retire from the DB. I wish him well and hope maybe to see him again in the future. I will not be taking applications for PCON at this time. If you were working on Chamberlain’s Taldryan Timeline project, please email me any progress you’ve made because I’ll be taking it over as of now.

-Before he left Chamberlain announced the winners of the PCONs Monthly Run-on, and they were:

1st – Nemesis

2nd – Shaithis

Medals should be on their way, if you don’t receive them soon let me know and I’ll recc them again.

-TWO OPEN AED POSITIONS, APPLY NOW!!

Both Ektrosis and Dinaari are now in need of AEDs. If you are interested in these positions, I am putting NO rank or experience restrictions onto them. If you think you would do a good job, just tell me why you believe that! They will be opened up to the entire DB but I would much rather have a current Taldryan member in them, so please apply now!! Send your applications to me at [Log in to view e-mail addresses] (and if you are applying for the Dinaari one, send it to Shaithis as well!!)

-SWM Shadowhawk has had a competition for Clan Taldryan approved, here are the details:

“Words for Williams” Comp

Write lyrics for any Star Wars movie theme

Humor is good

Scanning correctly with the chosen song is vital

It starts on my birthday and runs to the end of the month!

-This week is that time again, when I name two new people as Cohors Praetoria Taldryan. The two members of my Honor Guard for this week are…Shaithis and Benevolent Whiner! Both have been participating in the OHC Cup events and are possibly the most active members in Tal, congrats!!

-Last week Freshjive retired as QUA of Dinaari. He had done a great job as QUA even with his limited internet access, so on my recommendation as well as those of several others, Freshjive has been promoted to the rank of Obelisk Champion!
