**** All That Personal Stuff ****
This has been another rough week in the life of Jac Cotelin. I have a new schedule at work. I kinda like it actually, cause instead go going in whenever I feel like it, I go int when I need to and do nothing. It gives me an excuse not to be at work sometimes. I'll get paid a little less, but I'll have more sanity. Yes, I'd like a slice of sanity for $50 a week.
I didn't get much sleep this wek. That's probably why I slept till 2:00PM today. I spent 2 nights staying up and studying for exams, one night staying up with Khobai and Mav talking over GJ stuff and another night working late on a proposal. I was productive, but it was exhausting. I did manage to get a 100% on a CIS test and a 98% on a statistics midterm. I was pleased with that.
Ang and I went to a comedy club on Wednesday night. I think that's my new favorite thing to do. It's only 8 bucks a ticket during the week, which isn't too bad, and it's worth every penny. I wish I could remember what the guys all said, cause it was funny. :)
Mav is gonna hate me, cause I will be missing the meeting yet again. I'm going hone again for ANOTHER wedding in my gf's family. Suckage. I'll be gone from noon tomorrow to noon Sunday.

**** CoG Appointed ****
This week, SWL Halcyon was appointed to the position of Commander of the Guard. Halc is charged with a lot of work in his new position and so far he has hit the ground running. He has started a group to talk over changes to the Guard and the implementation of Guilds, and I must say, I am very pleaed so far with the progress. Keep up the good work Halc.
if you have any comments about the CoG and the accompanied systems, there are some MB threads open about it.
**** Obelisk Ranks Chosen ****
Yesterday I announced the winners of the Obelisk Ranks. I am pleased with the choice, as I think it will halp to give the order some much-needed definition. The ranks are as follows:
OT: Obelisk Templar
OP: Obelisk Prelate
OE: Obelisk Exarch
OPM: Obelisk Primarch
I realize some of you don't like the ranks, but that's the nature of things. The vote was very close, but the majority rules.
As for other rank changes, I have no plans or wants to tackle another change. Too many people can't agree on anything and no one seems to be able to be positive about anything at all, so screw it. When the only responses I get are "These ranks f*in suck" I don't get encouraged to make many more cosmetic changes. Like I said in another thread, if you want to propose something, email it to me, and I'll put it to the right channels for consideration. I won't initiate anything though.

**** RPG and Wargaming progress ****
I must say, the last two days have seen phenomenal progress in the RPG/Wargaming areas. I have talked with the key people that are developing the systems and I got some consessions from both of them and got some clarifications that make things work better. I am working on completing the proposal tonight. We'll have more to talk about soon.
**** GJW Planning started ****
After the last flop-of-a-GJW we decided at the split to give everyone a break from big DB competitions. Well, the break is coming to an end. The GJW team, headed by Mav and Khobai, has started some great work on the next big Vendetta. I am VERY excited about the concepts that we've come up with. It will make for a very intense and involved GJW. We are looking for a release right around October, so Consuls, plan your events around that.

Let's see him do it again! I'm just going to leave JaM3z's name here for good. Again this week JaM3z has helped me out with a buncch of site stuff in a timely and considerate fashion. He has put up with more than enough from me. thanks JaM3z
Big Props out to Halcyon for his CoG appointment. Halc is doing a great jop so far. i hope he keeps it up!
Huge props to to Khobai, who is doing a fantastic job as OHC. He is getting tournys going and is getting his ideas out there, a big help to me. Thanks for all you do Khobs!

Your DC history still has Arion after Troutrooper.
Look at the Headmaster reports list. If there isn't enough proof there that Arion preceeded TT, I don't know where there is. :P
