Well, I thought Zig was going to be around to do this, but in his absence, I decided it was about time to have Clan reports going again. :) My apologies for the absence of them for some time. Oh, god, no! For those of you who may have seen my House reports for Gladius, yes, we're without a sponsor for this report! So, without further ado, I'll simply say this report was brought to you by steak and vegetables for dinner, and onto the report!

The current status of the Clan by member count is that we now stand as the second largest Clan in the DB with 42 listed members! I'd like to say, I'm glad you're all here, I hope you're all stoked to be here, and I hope you all want to kick some ass, because I know I want to rock this joint. Yes, I know, I say that alot. Well, I mean it. I want to be the best. I don't care about numbers, I care about ruling this place. I want to be the most active, most skilled Clan there is. We've had some notable problems in various areas. In talking with Oberst, there's issues for our pilots with firewalls. Cestus has an apparent lack of members, and most of Gladius can't help in either area, simply because we choose to write, or because we have no other option available to us. But you know, even with these odds, this doesn't stop us now, and it never will. I know Zig has talked about trying to get flying, and I've recently gotten a hold of XWA, as well. I also have XvT, and I'm going to be working on practicing, so that I can assist our Sith where and when I can. I'm also able to help by playing JK2, and I also have Jedi Academy on order, so that I can try to be ready on that front.

My point in telling you this, Tarentum, is because I want you to know that I'm going to do all that I can to help us succeed as a Clan, and more. I want you all to have the opportunities for advancement, for competition, and for whatever else we desire to have. Now, on that note, there is work proceeding to get a Clan Feud started between ourselves and taldryan to help us prepare for the GJW coming up. I'm hoping to get this going, and soon, but don't let this stop you. Oberst and Rekio are working on keeping Tridens active, there's numerous options for the Obelisk and JK players to be active with the OHC Cup, and ICTE. Gladius still has my comp going on, Jason Hunter has a comp he's beginning, so our Krath have much to do as well to get prepared. I want to see all of you writing in those, and for the Sith and Obelisk, let's kick some gaming ass. :)

Notable news:

Oberst and I had talked recently about an idea for the Knight Trials. Yep, for those who remember those, they were originally designed as a series of events meant to test skills for a test for the Trials for DJK and beyond. Oberst had some good ideas for them, and I think that we can really make these great. I mentioned my ideas to Jac, and as he has time, I'll also be going over them with him, to get his feelings, and ideas he may have for those. Now, for those of you wondering about getting to DJK, if you may be worried that promotions will posisbly be held off to make you wait for this, that would be an answer or no. Until this project gets completely gone over and approved, promotion and reward will continue to be given by merit, and hard work, as I see a lot of from all of you. I know that you're working your hearts out, and I appreciate that from all of you. We just need to see a little more consistancy. There's always room for improvement, and with as good as I know we're capable of, if we could just increase the consistancy, we'd absolutely own this place, Tarentum.

Either way, it helps get people together, getting to know each other, and we can also use it as another form of activity. We can keep each other active, if we just seek to push it that extra mile, and do just that little bit extra to make sure we're all trying to make Tarentum the best Clan it can be.

And now, I think I'll leave that there. I hate long reports, and I'm sure a lot of people hate reading them. I'm not fond of adding in each House report at the end, since that'll only stretch these, and flood peoples' inboxes, but if there's a desire, I'll talk to each QUA, and maybe we'll just send House reports over this list, as well. As a final note, if there's ever anything on your mind, anything bugging you, or maybe a bright idea that you think can be beneficial to the Clan, come find me. I'm on IRC as much as possible under the nick Bloodfyre, or any variant of Sith_Out/Sith_AFK, or whatever, and even if I'm not there, just leave a PM message, and I'll make sure to get a hold of you about it ASAP. I try and have a turn around time on emails and messages of no more than 24 hours, and it's usually less than that, so you can expect a response in relatively little time.
