A few things to address this week. I've actually been really busy working. It seems they decided to book me most of the days, coupled with me having to spend time with the girlfriend...well...most of the work I did get done was during the midnight hours :P I have free time for the next few days, so hopefully I'll be able to get even more done.
*Grand Masters Royal Guard: *
The GMRG is officially up and running! The first members of the re-formed GMRG are as follows: Gord Darkonian, Lorad Desmos, KnightofRage, Koskian Arconae, Dagger, Sith Bloodfyre, Gambit, Cannabisia, Tatsu Kogarasu and Mordin Malchia. This is by no means the only member who will be on the roster. I have a few more people in mind, and you may always apply. Just remember, you must be able to play AT LEAST 10 MP matches a month, and you must have already shown a few months of MP activity before being considered. Guilds:
We've had two proposals so far, and they are currently looking for members before they can get started. The first was an Unreal Tournament 2003 guild. If you're interested in joining or helping out, e-mail [Log in to view e-mail addresses]. Also, a WarCraft 3 Guild is being put togehter by OP Mage. If you want in that guild, or to help out, mail him [Log in to view e-mail addresses]. If you have a guild platform in mind, find enough members for it, and submit your ideas. If you have the members, you can almost guarantee it'll be approved :)
XWA WoW:
XWA Week of War should be starting in a few hours! Get to those fighters, and get on the Zone! CF's can be earnt for winning and you'll also be helping the DB in getting their name out there! If you need any help in getting started in WoWs, please feel free to e-mail with any questions or concerns.
CoG Site:
Mejas Doto and Jam3z have agreed to help out in making it. Hopefully, I should have it soon, and it'll then be used as a protal for all your MP needs/questions.
ICTE Ladder:
I have talked to Mav's Praetor, Kieran Helsetu, about a Ladder for the Inter-Club Training Event. Hopefully, we can even get some more clubs to join in as well, and it can also be the starting point to a larger Club war :) I will be working on it this week to try and get some details hammered out with various clubs (like actually telling them what's planned :P).
SA Course:
I've been ondering writing an SA course dealing with all of the various MP platforms we have, and how to play in the various MP forums (Zone, WoWs, IRC, etc...). A beginner's guide to MPing in the DB basically. Hopefully, I can get started on this later this week. Maybe on my vacation (see next point :P)
Leave of Absence:
I'm actually going away on vacation next week on Thursday, August 28 until September 2nd. I may be able to access mail during that time, but who knows. I know for sure, I won't be on IRC and the likes.
Other Stuff:
Nothing else to add. I hope to get a few things done, or at least get the ball rolling on some of these projects. If there are any questions/concerns/comments/ideas you have concerning my work or my office, please feel free to contact me at anytime by mail, or bug my on IRC under the nick `Halc. I may not however always be willing to discuss too much at certain times...depending on the time and if I had just come back from work :) If that's the case, don't take it personally. Just mail me, or bug me later on.
