**** All That Personal Stuff ****

BOOOOOO! FINALS WEEK! BOOOOOO!

So I took one final already on Thus. I think I did pretty well. Hopefully I didn't miss many, cause that will give me an A in the class. I've got 3 more; one tues, one wed, one thurs. Yaaaay. I am not going to be around as much as I have to do well on these tests. My 4 point depends on it. :P

I think I'm becoming a loser this summer. For the past three weeks one of my friends has called me up to go out and party some night and each time I've said no. I think it's A: I have no c4sh m0n3y and B: ....errr...I think that's it. Jac is poor. :( Everyone feel sorry for me!

Not much else going on. Oh -- I registered for the LSATs for October 4th. I need to do really well on them to up my chances of getting into a good Law School. Pray fo me.

Being a GM and the second highest position in this club, it's not often you get recognized for anything. It normally doesn't bother me at all...in fact, the recognition, when it does come, is always that much better.

I want to sincerely thank FF for the Diamond Sword. I wasn't expecting it at all and it made my day. I had been getting stressed out with school and everything and didn't have much DB motivation at that point, but the DS managed to wipe that all away. And thanks to everyone else for their kind words.

**** Summer Down Time ****

Every summer it happens...the end of august hits, people start going back to school, or just get burnt out and have less effort poured into the DB. It's hit this year, but surprisingly not as bad as normal. I just want to encourage everyone to keep up the good work and pull through to the more active season afer the fall RL fiesta. We're doing very well right now as a club and things will only get better.

Also, at this point I know people start to get on eachother's nevers a bit more....just try to keep things calm. Everything's all good...

**** Proposals update ****

I've sent the big proposal I've been working on to a select few people. They have all been very excited and complimentary so far. I personally can't wait to get started with the upcoming changes. I believe that what we are about to do will make us the premier club on the internet. w00t.

**** Huge Growth ****

TWENTY-ONE new members this week. I find that amazing. I have been sending out welcome letters to the new recruits and I do about 2-3 per day on average. We are headed in the right direction and we need to continue the push to get us there.

Again, great work to CG and Jam3z. This is their permanent big props. Jam3s has done some great work in making the ACC faster and CG has done some good requested changes. Yaaaay SCL team!

HUGE Props to DJM Kaine for buying the IRC Stats program. That was a great contribution and I want to thank him for that and all the great workm he does.

Props to Nemesis and Freshjive on their new positions in Taldryan, QUA of Ekky and ProConsul! Yaaay!

Congrats Blade Dranal on achieving your lightsaber!

Props to Xizor and his staff for all the hard work they are putting in!
