CONSUL REPORT #18 for Week Ending 19/09/2003
Dark Greetings Brethren of Arcona,
_**Clan News:
__Clan Feud:
_**As you all know, the Feud is over. We lost. End of story. there have been a lot of differenrt views of this Feud and it's events. I'm all out feeling bad and apologising for the event. Some bit's were good, some bad. Lot's has been learnt and refroms throughout the entire Brotherhood will now take effect. I want to thank all members who gave their all, not just doing all events but doing them to the highest of their ability. We have a lot of room for improvement, our flaws are exposed and now we can make attempts to repair them. The next GJW will be our greatest test, quite possibly our greatest achievement as well. It's now in every Arconan's hands....
Clan Leadership Reshuffle:
Arcona has recently recieved sad news that Dark Side Adept Voranyen d`Tana has resigned from his position as Proconsul of the Clan.
I want to thank Vor for all the work he did as Proconsul. He was particularly important in setting up the recent Feud between Satal Keto and ourselves. I'm sorry I haven't had a more extenuated period to work with Voranyen as Clan Summit, but he'll be sticking around in Qel-Droma, helping where I need him and winning the GJW fictione events for us!!! Cheers Vor!
No shock to anybody, Voranyen's replacement will be the work horse well know and love - Epis JaM3z Lucius Entar!!! JaM3z has served as my Aedile before I was appointed Consul, he compliments my leadership style and his dedication as Qel-Droma Quaestor for the past 4 months more than proves his worth for this position. Congratulations mate! I look forwrad to re-working the magic of our pairing!
With JaM3z's appointment as PCON we now have a space open for Quaestor of Qel-Droma. JaM3z's Aedile, Archpriest Tissaya Luna Agrat, has developed well since working in her position. She has the drive and focus (not to mention the recruiting skills of Satan!)required for a Quaestor and I know she will excel in her new position. Well done Tiss!!!
Finally, as Tissaya moves up the ladder, her Aedile position must be filled. A returning DB member who has astounded many of us with his activity and level of workmanship - Priest Cyris Oscura, will now be the Aedile of House Qel-Droma. Congratulations!
The newly forged team has a lot of issues to address, which, were made clear by the recent Feud. I am extremely happy to be working with all of you and know that this will be a fantastic team, more than able to take Arcona back to the top.

<font size="3" face="Arial">CLAN ARCONA COMPETITIONS</font>
<font size="3" face="Arial">COMPETITION 1</font>:
**Title: **House Galeres Combat Ladder
Requested By: OP Syn Kaek
**Specifics: **The House Galeres Combat Ladder is a JK/JO ladder that will allow all members of Arcona to test their ability. The ladder will be split into two seperate tiers, one for JK and one for JO.
Everyone in Arcona is allowed to participate and every member who wishes to play must email OP Kaek with their relevent information. They will then be placed in one of the tiers and matched up. The competition will initially be single elimination but may become double elimination if there are a significant number of participants.
The ladder will work like a tournament bracket for each month with the winners from each month earning points for the overall ladder (for which no awards will be given). The winners of each tournament bracket for each month will receive crescents as befits them. If there is a significantly high amount of participation, some participants might receive DCs.
The overall ladder is an ongoing reflexion of who is the best in Arcona. The tournament brackets determine who wins each month.

<font size="3" face="Arial">DB COMPETITION 1</font>:
Title: DB Scavenger Hunt
Requested By: JH Brat Stone
**Specifics: Rules: **Each item is worth 5 points; there are 20 items for a total of 100 points. If you can not come up with an item you may turn in one extra from the other items listed. Extra Items are only 1 point. You may only submit 2 of any one item, meaning that if you could not locate Item #3 Then you could turn in extra one more of items 2, 6, 7, 8, and 12 it make up for the 5 points. If you can not locate item 14, you can not resubmit any of the others used to make up for item #3.
Bonus Points – If you find 100% of the Items, but found the same information in a different place or got a 2nd image that is different from one of your other submissions but can still be used, can turn it in for a bonus point. Bonus points only count as 1 point. In order to get 20 bonus points, YOU MUST CREATE A DIFFERENT LIST AND E-MAIL IT SEPARTELY. This will help choose who in the clan’s Top Scavenger Hunter is!
Participation – This Scavenger Hunt will be taking place in other clans at the same time across the DB. Based on the level of Participation, we will determine which Clan is the Top Scavenger Hunting Clan and the runner up Clan. Here is how that will work. Example, if a clan has 20 members and 19 get a score of 100 then the total Score is 1900 Divided by 2000 witch is 95% participation. LOA members will not count against the Clan if and only if they are submitted as being LOA at the beginning of the Scavenger Hunt. Clan Leads have 3 days to declare any LOAs.
Spirit of the Game – No Cheating, House Member work with each other, but I don’t want to see 75% of the same thing on everyone list. Let’s hold true to the Spirit of the Game and have fun.
All Images must be in JPG or GIF format. All files that are attached to an e-mail must be zipped. The file name of the zipped files should be in the following format, Item#X.zip

In the event of a Clan tie, There will be a sudden death face off hunt of 5 items on IRC that will done by the Clan’s Consuls, or ProConsuls. In the event of emergency, The Top Hunter for that clan can take the leaderships place in the face off hunt.
THE LIST
Item #1 – Locate a black and white or pencil drawing of any of the Jedi or Sith from any of the Star Wars Movies.
Item #2 - A Real Life Photo of any one dressed up as a Jedi, (Light or Dark) or other Star Wars Movie related costume.
Item #3 - A URL link to a Star Wars Fan Film that is at least 5 minutes long. (It must be free to view and does not require one to register their name and/or e-mail address to view it.)
Item #4 - A Cartoon image of C3-PO and R2D2
Item #5 - A recording of your voice saying, “May the force be with you.”(Must be no longer than 5 seconds and in WAV, MP3, or WMA format. Then Zipped up in a Zip file.)
Item #6 - A Screen Shot from the Game Jedi Knight II – Jedi Outcast from the Single Player game where you found a Secret Area. The Words “Secret Area” must be in the Screen Shot to count and can not be manually added to the image.
Item #7 - Locate a URL for an online News Article for the prototype for 'wired' soldier of tomorrow called JEDI. (Hint the date of the article must be in April of 2003.)
Item #8 – Photo of a child’s toy light saber. (This may not be a home made one. It must be store bought)
Item #9 – A Screen Shot of an exploding X-Wing from any of the Lucas Arts flight Sims games.
Item #10 – A one page story or poem about a poker game that must include 6 names of members from your house roster. No one may die or be hurt in any way in this fiction.
Item #11 - A Fictional Graphic Image of how you see yourself as a Dark Jedi and a RL image of yourself.
Item #12 – In 1982, who played C-3PO, R2D2 and Chewbacca in the Star Wars Film “Return of the Jedi”? Here is the thing, you must find this information on the Web and include the URL address to the sites where you found this information. George Lucas, Harrison Ford, Anthony Daniels (C-3PO), Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca) and Kenny Baker (R2-D2) filmed "Return of the Jedi" in 1982.
Item #13 – List 10 Star Wars Web sites that are not run or funded by LucasArts. The DarkJediBrotherhood.org site can not be listed in your group of 10.
Item #14 – Get a Non-DJB member to e-mail you a screen shot of their Star Wars Theme Desktop. The e-mail must be sent to you from their e-mail address and fwd to the Comp e-mail addy. No Clones that belong to you that are not part of the DJB are allowed. This must be a completely different person.
Item #15 – A link or attached file of an Image of a Tie Fighter – X-Wing Battle. Must not be directly from any Star Wars movie or Screen Shot of any video game. It may be created by yourself, but if other peoples work is used you must say who it belongs to.
Item #16 – A Screen Shot or Chat Log from a non-undernet.org IRC chat channel talking about Star Wars or LucasArts currently played games. (You must point out where you are in the log or screen shot.)
Item #17 – Tell the world about your Clan/House – Create a Message Board Posting or a Free Simple Web Site saying how cool and great your clan is. Place you DB Pin# the date you created it and you must have the www.darkjedibrotherhood.org in your posting or web site. Submit the URL for the judges to see it. (Note, if you use a Message Board it must be a Non-DB Message board!)
Item #18 – Name the titles of 4 of the Star Wars Comics books that were published by Dark Horse Comics. (If titles found on the Web, provide URL. If Titles from personal Collection, provide the ISBN # from the back of the comic.)
Item #19 – Locate an image of a Darth Vader figure that is not on a LucasArts Web site and submit the URL.
Item #20 – submit a WAV file of any Jedi or Sith voice from any of the Star Wars movies. It must be shorter than 10secs long.

**_Once again thanks to those who gave there all in the Feud. Congratulations everyone who was awarded a medal or a promotion. I'll be rewarding the leaders in the next few days and look forward to the next time when we have the opertunity to fight the Clan's - next time, we won't be on the losing side..
