House Byss Quaestor Report

The chambers of Bant Komad reflected their owner perfectly: small, durable and with purpose. The room was situated on the outer rim of the fortified citadel of House Byss, on the planet of Eden. Around him, the chamber was decorated in whites, beiges and creams, all the furniture was minimalistic but comfortable, and the dimunitive Nimdan sat cross-legged, eyes closed in meditation.

Before the Epis, a small, spherical droid twittered and beeped. This was Bants journal, and as the time came, it spoke to him

What News, Jedi Bant?

ØHouse Ziost, is in grave danger with lack of members.

ØKhan is our house Envoy until someone else accepts the job.

ØThe Shadow Academy is going to change its course listings into medals to better allow them to be shown on ID lines.

ØA new GJW is on the way.

ØI have returned from leave.

What of the House?

ØWe have an egroup [Log in to view e-mail addresses] - that is for all members to use.

ØSignatures, Crests and Portraits are being found for all current and future Byss members. If you wish to find your own, check http://www.renderosity.com. Use them in official communications, and send them to myself for cataloguing, if you desire. PRT Lugh has also volunteered to create signature banners for anyone who wants them.

ØThe identity of House Byss has been made out as the spies, informants and information gatherers of the Dark Brotherhood. With this in mind, we can tailor our writings, beliefs and works to fit this unique flavour.

ØDont forget to CC me on all the work you submit to anyone, so I can track what youre doing.

What activities are there?

ØBROTHERHOOD COMPETITION: Yeah, so this is still going on... There's 2 weeks left until the deadline. So far, I've only received 5-6 submissions. I hope to get more this week. Rules:

1) The Topics: Raping, Killing, Pillaging, and/or Pimping.

2) No word used can have over 5 letters ("cat" is legal, "kitten" is not).

3) No alliteration, consonance, or any other "clever" poetic device can be used. Don't try to be intelligent.

4) Minimum Length: 50 words (or 50 things you consider words).

5) Your poem must be really dumb and make no sense. This is the most important rule. Any attempt at making sense will result in instant disqualification--seriously.

ØKMT: Songs of Experience write a song of the wisdom passed on from master to apprentice over the years. Minumum 60 lines. Submit to Trevarius ([Log in to view e-mail addresses]).

ØKMT: Love Sonnet a love sonnet for a Jedi. Submit to KHP Alanna ([Log in to view e-mail addresses]).

ØKMT: Epic Competition write the epic life story of previously unknown Dark Jedi Master. Minumum 10 pages. Submit to Alanna ([Log in to view e-mail addresses]), Trev ([Log in to view e-mail addresses]) and Ciara ([Log in to view e-mail addresses]).

ØCLAN COMPETITION: Write the story of how Khan recovered Exar Kuns lightsaber from Yavin IV and sealed the tomb. See our run on for background information. Submit to him. Winner will be who keeps Khan most in character.

ØHOUSE COMPETITION: A Comedy of Errors Write whatever comes to mind from that. Final closing date is THIS FRIDAY. Submit to me.

ØIve learned that Star Wars Galaxies will not reach England till December this year! Im very annoyed at this, but am already planning my character for it.
