Taldryan CON Report 10-12-03

Ok well the good news is that I’m feeling good again, no more sickness here! The bad news is that now I have about two weeks of schoolwork to catch up on, plus 2 makeup tests and 2 midterms, so lots of fun for me this week. No worries though, I will still be around on IRC during my study breaks (which I take LOTS of).

DB News

-The DB finished 6th overall in the JO WoW, almost totally because of Taldryan’s own Mordin and Shaithis! They finished 4th and 7th individually, congrats to them!

-Trev is taking submissions for the Dark Voice, if you have something you would like to submit, send it to [Log in to view e-mail addresses]

-In addition to the KMT’s this month, the KHP has started another comp, an “Invent a Word” competition, see djb.org for details, also on a Krath note, the mIRC channel #krath has been registered, if you’re online be sure to join!

-The Krath Monthly Topics for October are “Never-ending Combat” and “And now for something a little less pleasant…”, see djb.org for all the details

-The ACC running smoothly!! To go check it out and get started on participation, go to http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.org/dbjedi/acc/. I’m a member, so if you join you will be able to fight me!!

-Interclub Training Nights will be held every Saturday, at 4pm, in #Outerrim, get in there and represent Taldryan!

-Clan Envoys: There have been some changes made to the Clan and House Envoys for Taldryan, here they are:

Knight Class Envoy (Taldryan): Freshjive

Companion Class Envoy (Archanis): Shadowhawk

Companion Class Envoy (Dinaari): Mordin

Companion Class Envoy (Ektrosis): Xuthen

I’m going to send the four of them an email detailing how I’d like our envoys to work together with our new members to make sure they all come contributing members of Taldryan!

-Alright here it is, the new Cohors Praetoria for the next two weeks. This was a tough decision, because the current Honor Guard of Mordin and Shaithis, pwned in the WoW and I wanted them to have it, but there are other people in Taldryan also working hard so…the new Cohors Praetoria are Xuthen and Flechy! Xuthen has been a very active presence since she joined, and Flech is always around, working for Tal and just being a great all-around member!

-The Taldryan ACC Ladder has moved onto Round 2, the winners of Round 1 being Kir, Shadow, Aragorn, Xuthen, and Flech. Remember the 72 hour post limit is in effect, don’t get caught! (like I almost did, hehe)

-Dinaari’s house Feud with Kirleta is moving along well, it ends on Monday (tomorrow), Go Dinaari!!

-Shadow is in charge of the CTF League for Taldryan, so if you have any questions/comments/want to play, let him know!!!

-New Ektrosis Competition:

Shadow Warriors Run-on! Will take place on the Ektrosis message board, so get posting!
