Report #1 November 8, 2003

General news.

Ive officially been made Consul of the Clan.  All congratulatory remarks can be sent in the form of hookers, cases of soda, and bags of Doritos.  Anything else will be given to the new Proconsul, who will be announced upon his appointment.  I am not taking applications for the position.


 The Clan-wide competition I am planning is still being planned.  I am expecting to be able to run it before Christmas, but that all depends on whether or not it all gets finished in time to devote a full month to running it.  Stay tuned for more on that.


 I am very impressed with the rise in activity since I took over after Goatham became SHW.  Weve had a flood of new members join us, lots of CFs awarded, and several SA tests taken.  I only hope that this is not a fluke and it continues long into the future.


 Speaking of activity and CFs, I also heard that we kicked ass in the ICTE recently.  Im very proud of all who participated to tie us with Arcona and Taldryan.  Keep up the good work.


 Now, the first competition I run as Consul will be the Name that Quote competition.  The rules are simple:  At the bottom of each of my weekly reports will be a quote.  Your job is to name the source of that quote (movie, tv show, cartoon, song, et cetera) and who said it (it could be a group or a specific person).  The first person to get it correct will receive a DC.  Everyone else gets a pat on the back for trying and a hearty good luck next week.  If you send me a quote to use and it gets used, you will also receive a DC, but only if I use your quote.  All quotes will appear after my signature, this will be the only week that I point it out in the report.  So pay attention. Hehe.

House news.

 Lots of new recruits to each house.  HPG and HMR seem to be getting the most, which is no surprise since the Sith are suffering so badly.  If you plan on recruiting someone, and they have the capability to fly the Sith platforms, please try and persuade them to join the Sith order.  They need as many members as they can get.

None this week but if things keep going the way they are, a few people might get promoted.  Im not promising, but its possible.

Conclusion.

 You guys have done an excellent job this past week and I am very proud.   The only thing I can really say is to just keep up the good work and even if we arent the best clan around, at least well be the one having all the fun.
