Short report this week....and late :P

First of all -- GO BUCKEYES!!!! I have to say that we are the most exciting footbal team in the ncaa. You might think that the Sooners are nice cause they run down their opponents every game, but they aren't super exciting to watch. The Buckeyes keep you on the edge of your seat for the entire game. What is better football than a 16-13 game decided by a missed 30 yard field goal in the first overtime? Nada I say, nada.

I'm liking my new office at work. I have a lot more room, and I have the ability to keep my screen from being seen by my boss. I actually installed mIRC at work and I hope to be on there getting paid to talk more and more. My nick will be JacAtWork if you need me. I may not hang out in the channels, but I'll be on for msgs.

I have one more midterm in a history class this week then it's 2 test-free-weeks before exams. That makes me happy.

I slept for 15 hours last night....15. It was everything I thought it would be.

I posted a few days ago about complaints and where to send them. I just want to let you all know the best ways to be heard in the brotherhood are to follorw the chains of command. Talk to your CONs, talk to your DC members or FF and I. That's the best way to get a complaint heard. Random babling on IRC and Message boards doesn't always get read by us. Email is the best forum.

Another great thing to use is the DB Feedback option when you log in. This was how the recent spam issue was brought to our attention. It works well.

You are free/encouraged to talk and debate however you want, but for things to get done, the right people have to know the issues.

I will be moving the message board today to a new directory on my server. It may be down for a while. I will put up a redirect for the new URL once it is moved, and I'll make a news post about it.

As many of you know, The DC has a continual stream of projects that go in and out. Some of them you hear about, some you don't.

I am making a conscious effort to get the general membership more in the know-how. The DC wants everyone to know more about what's going on. EWxpect some of these announcements every now and then over the coming months.
