Yup, it's that time again. Another report from Sithie!

Big news so far, the results of the Sith War. Tridens has been named First House of the Sith Order, and has achieved a lasting honor in such a victory. Tridens also now enjoys the benefit of owning a Marauder Corvette, which they will be working on naming in the coming week. The bulk of the victory, and much honor, goes to Rekio Corsair. Rekio had more points by himself than the next closest -House- did. I appreciate, and am proud of the participation of Rekio, but also Oberst, Zeno and Welshman, who all managed to participate within the Sith War. It brings up questions on what we can do to increase the participation of the Sith. I realize that it is tough, especially since there hasn't been a new game released for flying since XWA, I believe, in the Star Wars genre, but there's other avenues of participation. While flying games are the main focus of Sith activity, we can certainly do other things to mix it up, and keep your interest. Let us know what you like doing, and we'll work to make things better for everyone. Rekio and Oberst are a strong team, and only have your interest at heart. They're working for all of you, and I hope you can show the dedication to them that I always see from them on your behalf.

There's been a lull in Obelisk activity, but I'm hoping we can pick that up. Even I manage to get out to things like the ICTE and net a few CFs. I'll admit it, one of my biggest problems with keeping things interesting for the obelisk is that, yes, I'm a Krath. I need input from all of you to set up things that you want to do, and to arrange the kind of activity that you all enjoy. In Cestus, Talon Zetar has been named AED once again, and I'm sure he'll bring another level of activity and competition to the House as he and Blade work together for the benefit of Cestus, and for the Clan as a whole.

Jason Hunter is on leave as he and Alexi are at another convention, but have no fear, Aari is here! She's in-charge, and I have absolute faith in her. Aari was QUA of Gladius a while back, and yeah, I was her AED. That goes back in the books. We have a number of people staying active with competitions put out by Spears, and I'd like to recognize him for his work putting out trivia each week, as well as for the other comps he runs. He does a lot of work for everyones' benefit, so I hope you're taking advantage of that.

Working with Oberst, and others, we're devising a system of Knight Trials that will deepen the experience of gaining your lightsabers, and helping increase the interest and fun to a new level. They'll be devised of three level of testing: one from the House Summits, one from the Clan Summits, and a third test, that may come from the person's master, or someone close to that member, who can test them on a "deeper level," so to speak.

Work has also begun on a "planning commission," which will be charged with assisting me with running the Clan along a storyline. Details are still being hammered out from where we start at, and progress along, but basically, within this group, we'll hammer outr a base outline for every 3-6 months, describing what will be happening fictionally, and helping each House tie competitions into it. Hopefully, it'll help the fictional history seem like we're living in things, and more like watching an "episode" of events, so to speak, and will work to increase the interest in competitions throguh having it actually tied into our own progression, instead of just a conglomorate of events with no real "meat" to them.

Ok, so we're going to have a couple of improptu events. Anyone can compete in any of them. People don't come out enough to the ICTEs for playing, so we're going to have some "Whoop the CON" events. Basically, anyone who comes for JO or JA on IRC, the Clan's channel on the Undernet is #Tarentum, I'll be randomly changing the topic in the channel to "Whoop the CON!" during this time, anyone who wants to challenge me in JO or JA will be welcome to. Medals to be determined later. For flying, we're going to have a hunt. We're either looking for missions for any of the flying games, or other games that we can use. It doesn't have to be a Star Wars game, and it can even be a simple little game that can be played from websites. Mission creation is also something we should be working towards, even if it's only planning out missions to be created later. Design a battle, or a series of battles that revolve around the Clan, and if you can create the missions, you'll be rewarded extra. For writing, I recently put out a competition about The Keepers, which is going to be tied into Tarentum history, and the Clan Specific Powers that Tarentum was alotted, Necromantics. While we're still waiting to hear about whether or not the Powers project will be approved, I want to work on tieing it into Clan history.

Anyways, I'll end that there. I realize that everyone has things happening in real life, with school, activities, and various other things, but if we give this Clan just a little bit of each of us, it'll turn into something huge, and that can't be stopped. This Clan has talent that can't be found anywhere else within the Dark Brotherhood, and I know if we increase the activity levels, we can own this place. This is all about fun, and it shouldn't ever seem forced, but there comes a point when we have to realize, we have to put in something, or we'll find nothing wherever we look. You're the best Clan in the DB, Tarentum. I'm proud to be among you. Let's really make this Clan the one the others seek to emulate, and seek to be as good as.
