Taldryan CON Report 12-7-03

Well if this upcoming week is anything like mine for everyone else, chances are you’re going to be REAL busy! Its exam week for me, so lots of fun studying! Luckily I only have 4 exams, and I’ll be done Thursday night and on my way back home. Unfortunately as you may have heard me complain before, when I am at home my ISP won’t let me connect to YahooMail. That is a problem since that is the email address I use! So as soon as I get home I will try to straiten that out, but if I don’t respond to emails at the end of this week, that’s why! Ok report time…

DB News

-The HM is running a new anagram competition, they can be found in the news section of djb.org, so get going on those!

-The GMRG is sponsoring a new “Skills of a Warrior” competition you can find here: www.starfleetacademy.net/soaw.html. Either JK, JO, or JA are usable, go check it out and start participating!

-The Combat Master has started a new type of cooperative ACC competition, the “Challenge of Ashvroth”. So if you’re a Learner or higher in the ACC, go read about the Competition here:

-The Krath Monthly Topics for December are “Antei Archeology” and “Sixty Minutes”, see djb.org for all the details.

-The ACC is running smoothly!! To go check it out and get started on participation, go to http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.org/dbjedi/acc/. I’m a member, so if you join you will be able to fight me!!

-There is an open Multiplayer competition every Tuesday in #gmrg from 2-10pm EST. All platforms are used and CFs will be awarded!!

-Every Thursday night in #obelisk there is the “Thursday Night Bash” multiplayer event, from 6-10pm EST, all platforms are accepted, CFs will be awarded!

-Interclub Training Nights will be held every Saturday, at 4pm, in #Outerrim, all multiplayer platforms are accepted, CFs will be awarded, get out there and represent Taldryan!

Taldryan News

-Big clan news this week is my super-cool, absolutely-amazing new Clan-wide competition! (And it’s EASY too!) So here are the details:

“It’s getting to that time of year when people of most cultures have one Holiday or another. So that got me thinking, do Dark Jedi Knights have holidays? And if they do, what are they and how are they celebrated? So for this competition, you are to create a story, graphic, poem, or anything else you can use to depict a Dark Jedi Holiday. Make sure to include the Holidays name and how it is celebrated, along with any other information you would like. Creativity = bonus points!”

All submissions are due by January 4th!

-This week is that time again, time to announce a new Cohors Praetoria! If you all read the Taldryan Ceremony I sent out this week, you noticed they were mentioned in the story (and that they were real bad-asses), just thought I’d point that out! So for this week, the two new members are…Astnagrath and Vail Aquillarum Unteminar (Aragorn). Astnagrath has had outstanding activity levels as of late, and Aragorn’s IRC presence is amazing, congrats to both!

-I awarded the winners (people with the most posts) for the last One-word run-on, which was on the Taldryan message board. That’s right, you can get medals merely for posting on the MBs, so start doing it! The winners were…
