Christmas is right around the corner as are finals for all of you who are in school. Oh how I pity you.

Phyle happenings and gossip!!

Really not much going on. I hope that means everyone is hard at work with the many competitions out for everyone to have fun in.

Dranik has three awards, one pending. An emerald star, a cluster of fire, and a topaz star pending. Dranik has been participating in matches and is doing an overall good job in his games. I keep saying I'm going to get around to playing :)

Kudos will be getting an emerald star. I was so happy to hear from him I almost jumped for joy.

This will be the last week for the TET sponsored Tyro competition. I was a bit sad to see only two people take interest in this. I do hope everyone will participate in what I've got cooking next.

Competition stuffs!!

New competitions are up on the website. I try to keep things updated but there might be a delay of a day or so. Anyway this weeks competition was selected from two I got. Sorry Dranik but I decided to go with Anshar's competition.

To the modern person, movies like Star Wars and TV shows such as Star Trek are science fiction. Humans have always been interested in what could potentially be, from Jules Verne's submarine to H.G. Wells' time machine, science fiction has been with us for most of history.

So, just what do you think the people who live in the Star Wars universe look forward to? In a time where space travel is the norm, aliens are plentiful, and the Force is something of everyday life (in one way or another).

Requirements

 1. Should be at least 1/2 to 1 page long (longer is fine) in 12 pt font (Arial, TNR, or Courier). Attach in .doc, .txt, or .rtf  

 2. You can write a fictional story, describe some new technology, or something else that qualifies as science fiction.

The waiting was finally over. All held their breath as CON Sith announced his choice of ProConsul. As Rekio heard his name announced he immediately jumped up out of his seat and shouted something unintelligible. He then began to run with excitement up towards the stage. He managed to jump over several wires and up all the steps that led up to the stage. He then shoved Sith out of the way and took over the mic where he proceeded to give out a hasty speech. Everyone was so appalled at his actions that they did not listen to his words.
