HLK News #5 - December 13th, 2003

1. Chaotic Vengeance Run-On
   

There will be three sections of this report dedicated to the current Clan Competition. As some of you who are on IRC might be aware, I'm very involved in producing HLK's run-on for the competition. I really hope some of you put in an entry or two (about your own character, I suppose) during the whole thing. I really don't want to write the whole thing myself.

All of the basic information you'll need to write effectively in the run-on can be found at the beginning of the run-on itself. Oh yeah, you can find the run-on at:

Now I will summarize the two chapters that I have written:

Chapter 1 - The introdution. Basically Manesh goes paranoid and Tiger becomes impatient.

Chapter 2 - A more elaborate recap of the motivations for Manesh and Tiger, with a strong emphasis on Manesh. I was hoping Tiger would elaborate his situation in Chapter 3 (unless I write it myself, which I will do if Tiger doesnt' write his part today or tomorrow). In addition, Karmicus plants a bomb to destroy the HLK base.

1. Chaotic Vengeance - What's already happened.
   

I took 1st place in Event #1. This is wonderful, although doesn't put HLK in first place, since House Marka Ragnos took both 2nd and 3rd place. Based on Event 1 alone, HMR has 8 points, and HLK has 7 points. However, I know I played one JO Match, and lost, giving HLK 2 points and giving HPG 2 points.

1. Chaotic Vengeance - What's coming up
   

You should ask around in #naga_sadow to see who's willing to play a few multiplayer matches. If any of you non-HLK members who are reading this want to play me in JO, I'm usually willing.

1. Aedile
   

Hopefully you know that Sith Overlord Jeff "Tiger" Loruss has been made Aedile of this house. Even better, the run-on should lead to his fictional promotion.

1. Medals
   

I'm waiting for one to be approved, but oh well.

SO Manesh was awarded 3 CLUSTERS OF FIRE for participation in the ICTE.

SO Manesh was awarded a LEGION OF THE SCHOLAR for 2nd place in today's DB trivia. (FINALLY!)
