Yep, as promised, the report was intentionally a day late, and I'll be explaining why in a minute. There are a few things I want to cover. It will b as follows:

Honored Clansmen of Tarentum, I stand before you today in recognition of one of our own. Before continuing on, I ask that you read this fictionalization, written by my hand, that will explain my next few statements.

Spears has completed his Jedi Trials successfully, and much honor goes to him. The submissions received by myself, by his House Summit, and by his master were of excellent quality, and creativity. Spears his hereby to be elevated to the rank of Dark Jedi Knight, with all the rights, priviledges, and authorityafforded to said rank. Spears, you have my personal congratulations, and the accolades of the Clan. Well done, my friend.

I suggest you all make yourselves familiar with it, as I intend to do what I can to help Tarentum make a proper showing, and I hope you all will submit something, as well. I have been taking suggestions for the possible ships that we will take, and I appreciate the number of comments that have been made. I took the opportunity to speak with Oberst and Rekio in private (I would've invited other Summit members, but no others were present) to discuss the suggestions that were made. The decision was made that, while a Strike Cruiser would be a valuable weapon, for our fictional situation, there wasn't as much need for it. The decision we made is this: we have opted, instead, for an Escort Carrier and a Gallofree Transport.

The Escort Carrier will, if we understand correctly, provide us with a full wing of fighters, and the Carrier to transport them. Combined with the squadron from the Marauder Corvette Creeping Death, and the two squadrons carried within the VSD Corsair, Tarentum has a full 9 squadrons. There is also the possibility of 3 squadrons assigned to the PLT Aegis, but those would be strictly tied to the PLT for defense; we'll be checking on that. But, again, fictionally, this increases the starfighter count to approximately 110+, with possibly 36 more, if it's verified for the PLT defensive squadrons. We thinkt hat, at least from a fictional standpoint, this makes more sense. And, after all, a great deal of this is the fictional sense.

I will be accepting name suggestions for the Escort Carrier, the Gallofree Transport, as well as the fictional squadrons we posses. That's two ship names, and nine squadron names (possibly more) that we will need. And yes, this will be a mini-comp, of sorts, sponsored by Rekio and myself for the next month. Crescents will be awarded, along with th honor of being the one to pick the names that our ships, and squadrons, will fly under. And, as a bit of a preview of something else, I have a little project in mind that will add more fictional items to the Clan, dealing with those ships and squadrons, as well.

Some of the things that are always ongoing are the spam topics on the Gladius Board, where you can have fun talking about anything and everything known to man (or, almost, anyways). The weekly comps are the Tuesday Night Showdown in #gmrg, the Thursday Night Bash in #obelisk (which seems to be slowing down; let's get out there and show them where Tarentum goes, activity follows), and the ICTE every Saturday in #outerrim. As always, these comps are found in those respective channels on the IRC Undernet. Also found on the Undernet are the main DB channel, #db, and our Clan channel, #tarentum

We also have weekly trivia due to the dedication and generosity of Spears, who continues to hunt down trivia for all of us, and offers LSSs in return. And LSS is the Legion of the Scholar award, which is the mark of people who know their trivia (just ask Tridens QUA, Lenzar, who is always sweeping up an LSS almost every week in DB trivia after the meetings). I appreciate Spears for his perseverance, and good attitude in running this. Next subject, my leave. Yep, Christmas holidays fast approach, and I'm going to be gone from this Friday night, the 19th, until Sunday the 28th. During that time, chaos will abound, everything will be absolute anarchy, and I expect you all to make the DB tremble in your midst. Heh. Just kidding, everything will be fine. While I'm gone, Rekio is in charge, along with you rrspective House Summits, obviously. During this time, I expect everyone to have a happy, and safe holiday season. And, as a special note, to Zig and Ad-war, I hope you guys are safe, I hope you guys are well, and we miss you. Come home soon. We're proud of you, and of all of our armed forces.

Finally, my Keepers comp. This comp ends at 11:59 pm EST on December 31st. And because I expect that a lot of people will be partying on New Year's Eve (I know I will), I'd say to hurry and get something in before then! Again, I expect something from every House Summit, and as said before, I don't care if it's short, I can flesh out details later. That goes for everyone. Send something, no matter how small of an idea. I'll be working to flesh it all out later. I would appreciate more, but even a little bit helps.
