HLK Report #6 - December 20th, 2003

1. Chaotic Vengeance Run-On
   

Alright, I've just finished moving the run-on to the right spot for someone else (Tiger or Smitrock..) to continue. I will recap the last few chapters that have been written.

Chapter 3 (Tiger) - Tiger realizes that Manesh (or rather Grey Hawk) has placed a bomb and remove it from the station's fusion reactor. Smitrock places the bomb on an outside asteroid in Manesh's planned flight route, so that when he gets back, he'll go boom.

Chapter 4 (Smitrock) - Tiger and Smitrock continue planning.

Chapter 5 (Manesh) - Manesh has a weird dream.

Chapter 6 (Manesh) - Manesh and Grey Hawk approach Sadow Palace. They find Tiss there, and Manesh attacks Tiss, because he thinks Tiss is responsible for Rai and Malik's dissapearance.

Chapter 7 (Manesh) - Manesh fights Tiss, but eventually grows tired of it. Tiss agrees to help Manesh, and Manesh starts to get back to normal.

Chapter 8 (Manesh) - Manesh continues to hallucinate, and Smitrock's bomb hits Manesh's shuttle. However, a last minute course change minimizes damage to the shuttle.

Well, that's it. There are all kinds of ways the story can progress from here. We have until the 31st (that's a week and a half away) to finalize the story. I'll be talking to people, and hopefully they'll be talking to me, to figure out how we will finish this thing.

1. Chaotic Vengeance Other Stuff
   

Don't forget that there are other events for Chaotic Vengeance. Play multiplayer missions with whoever's willing, and don't forget that there are two poem competitions too. Although I personally don't like poems, I'm sure we can spit something better than the Krath can.

1. Capital Gains
   

Several members of the clan discussed what kind of ship we would have. It was an invigorating and fun conversation, and very Sithy. So, we decided that the Clan would have one Strike Cruiser and one Medium Transport (the same conversation that almost every other Clan decided on). So now there's a competition to write a story about how we got ahold of these positions.

1. Mini-AWOL check
   

Rai's starting to put the pressure on making sure you guys are active. Now, since I talk to most of you on a regular basis, I'm gonna isolate the three members who haven't done anything in a while. These members are:

-ACO Handril Madon

-NOV Juan-Khan

-NOV Merrick Sengir

If any of you do not contact me or show signs of life in a week, I will remove you from the HLK roster. That way, we'll attract fresher and newer members.

Look, I'm a pretty relaxed guy. I talk to the other four members all the time, and I know their circumstances, or why they're not partcipating, or whatever. Communication is wonderful, and I believe in it.

I will give you guys another warning in a few days.

1. Medals
   

SO Manesh was awarded 2 CLUSTERS OF FIRE for participation in the ICTE.

SWM Smitrock was awarded a STAR OF ANTEI for creating that interesting XvT interface design.

1. Conclusion
   

We might have a new member entering the house, because someone actually responded to my welcome letter.

Things are still going good. Wonderful.
