Last Week

My appologies about the lack of a report last week, it appears that though I posted it as a meeting announcement last Saturday I never actually uploaded it... still, I'll address everything over the past two weeks today, although as can probably be assumed there is not a lot to report in respect of last week, more from the week prior.

Capital Gains

The first section of Capital Gains is over and I am pleased to say that the results are quite spread across the different choices we provided. It is a bit of a shame to see a number of Clans taking the Strike Cruiser and Gallofree Transport option, though the others who took more diverse options were a welcome change to the norm. The next section of Capital Gains, the fictional accounts, is still running, and I would hope to see some Sith submissions, it might look like a Krath sort of thing but the Fleet is our fleet, so I would encourage you all to participate, after all, we're the ones who will have to fly them...

Order of Battle

Well for all intensive purposes the Order of Battle is complete, all that really remains is for the Dark Council to sort out its small compliment of ships and the Clans to give their backstories about where their ships came from. The actual site though is done, and ready for release, my thanks to Mav for his help there and I think you'll all be very pleased with what he's done :) I'll will leave the honour of formally opening the Order of Battle to Mav, so look out for an announcement from him sometime soon.

Sith Website

My thanks to Mav again for saving us here, the site is done and just needs some content plugged into it now. I will be spending most of my time over the next week filling the site up, but for now if you want a preview of what it is going to look like then feel free to have a peak here. We should have the bulk of the content filled in by the end of the week, after which I will begin with some of the more complex projects such as the Sith Compendium and Academy updates. My thanks go out to Mav once again for all the help he has given us.

Rogue Squadron III

As you may have noticed on my last report I opened a poll for RS3 to see how many people have, or would consider getting Rogue Squadron III. Upon purchasing it myself I later found out that LA actually decided to get rid of the online part of it, leaving it just as a normal off-line console game... I did edit my report though if you missed it basically it means we won't be using RS3 as a platform :(

Expansion of the Order

With the New Year comes new ideas, and it probably has become clear to everyone that TIE, XvT and XWA are getting near to being extinct platforms, it pains me to admit it but I won't let my dormant passion for them blind me to the truth. This is why I was considering Rogue Squadron III as a possible expansion of the Order, but it seems as if the majority of console games don't turn out to include the online support they claim to be including. Therefore with the main building blocks of the Order, the website, academy courses and order of battle established we will soon be able to set our sights on expanding into new areas, so expect some new ideas to be brought across over the next few months.

New Starfighter

I thought I'd give a sneak peak into something that is currently under development: the custom Dark Brotherhood starfighter. It's a very attractive new interceptor that would rival both the Avengers and Defenders for superiority. But I won't say anymore than that, look forward to its release sometime soon.

Since I missed the report last week, I'd just like to extend my thanks to everyone who has congratulated me on my promotion, and I'd especially like to thank Mav for being the one to recommend it. My thanks once again, and all that remains is for me to wish you all a happy new year :)
