Aedile Report

<bow> Welcome to the first Aedile report of 2004! I hope you all had a good christmas and new year - but now to business. I have been recieving many e-mails from those of you who have been active over the festive period and I am very pleased that many of you are serious enough to maintain activity even through the holidays.

House Activity

Now to the mentions, I feel compelled to do this first, so that we are all aware of who is active and who is not - As I said earlier, I have had many reports of members being active, but not as many as there should be for the amount of people in the house. Those of you who are still of Novice rank and below, should probably be aware that being active will allow you to advance much faster, and gain you medals too.

So far I am impressed by the activity from these members, but many more of you have yet to contact me via IRC, e-mail, or any of the numerous messengers I am available on. It would be preferable if all members would download mIRC (internet relay chat) from here and join #clanexarkun, or #db. If you need any help with this all you have to do is e-mail me and I will run you through the basics. Better still the Shadow Academy hosts a course, complete with guides to help you along the way.

House News

As many of you are aware, we are currently in the process of creating clanexarkun.org and I would like those of you with knowledge on HTML,PHP, ASP, and graphics to contribute. I will soon be opening clanexarkun.org e-mail accounts so those of you with interest need only e-mail [Log in to view e-mail addresses] and I will set you up.

I have been informed that we have a DB wide comp on at the moment and our house specifically has had NO entries.
The comp is titled Capital Gains, and if any of you are in any doubt as to what this is you will find all the information you need at http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.org/dbjedi/lch/comp/introduction.htm. We have had no submissions and time is running out - entries must be in by January 12th.

Lastly, i recently set up the House e-groups, and to my knowledge all members have been signed up, all you have to do is e-mail [Log in to view e-mail addresses] to start sending messages no spam.

That concludes my report for this week, I expect to be hearing from those who have yet to report in soon.
