Alright, an actual, long-winded report from the CoG this week! I can hear those shouts of joy already! :P Although I have done a bit of work (and am currently doing alot more as we speak), I haven't accomplished all that much because of a game called Knights of the Old Republic. What time I had devoted to the club was takenup by KOTOR...so sorry about that :P The game is just soooo good...and I haven't even gotten all that deep into it yet. Anyways, onto some actual news.
*Grand Masters Royal Guard: *
I'm going to have to do alot of work here. Alot of little things need updating from myself, so I'll start on that right away. Just alot of house cleaning to do. Also, I have received mails asking how to join the GMRG. All information on both the guard and guilds can be found in the Dark Side Compendium. Everything is currently up-to-date, so please go here to find out more.
Praetor:
I am in need of a new Praetor! Any given this job will be tasked in handling the day-to-day duties of the GMRG. In essence, you will be leading the GMRG. That will also involve either forming, or finding competition for it. It will also include finding, or keeping an eye out, for new potential members. Read below for the requirements.
Requirements:
Knowledge of all the DB platforms
Ability to host games on any platform
Past leadership ability within the DB
Extensive knowledge of multi-player in relation to the DB platforms
Currently an active participant in multi-player activity
You do not have to be a current member of the GMRG to apply. Please address each point in your application and send them to [Log in to view e-mail addresses]. I hope to have someone chosen by my next report.
Guilds:
Not much from the guilds this week, since I haven't heard back from anyone. However, I urge everyone to go to this MB topic and post a reply.
DB Player's Association (SWG) - [Log in to view e-mail addresses] (Up and running)
Diablo 2 - [Log in to view e-mail addresses] (Up and running)
WarCraft 3 - [Log in to view e-mail addresses]
Neverwinter Nights - [Log in to view e-mail addresses]
Tony Hawk's Underground - [Log in to view e-mail addresses]
MechWarrior - [Log in to view e-mail addresses]

WoW:
Another disappointing WoW. Noone seemed to show up for the JO WoW. It may have also been my fault for not promoting it more than I did. However, I urge anyone who MPs to try and make it to the WoWs. If you need help on signing up and playing games, please come to me and ask. I have signed us up for the JK WoW, so for those of you who still place it, you can go here for more information.
CoG Site:
With the free time I'll have, it's a perfect time for me to get some things done.
Event Center
I'll be updating this shortly
**ICTE/Tuesday Showdown:
** I urge everyone to continue to come out to the ICTE if they can. You never know when members from another club will show up. And just a reminder that this isn't a competition, so just have fun and be respectful to those not in the DB as well. I haven't heard of any problems and I wish to keep things that way
Also, participation in the Tuesday Showdown has been lower than normal. I hope everyone will start coming out once again. I would just like to thank Lenzar for taking over the past couple of weeks for me. I should be online this Tuesday to host.
SoaW
T he Skills of a Warrior competition is still going strong (and will be for quite some time :P). I urge all Clan leaders to tell their members about this competition. It is a good way to be active and earn a CF if they have some free time and are bored. I have also heard of some problems with the competition (mostly because of downloading the maps and such). I will be seeing how we can resolve any of this. If anyone has any probelsm with this competition, please mail myself or Arania, and we shall try and address them. Also, I have a few other ideas that branch off from this competition. However, for all of the information, please go HERE. The website for this can be found at www.starfleetacademy.net/soaw.html
Other Stuff:
That's it for me...I did manage to get things done, just not what I had planned on doing. C'est la vie :P Anyways, here's hoping you all have a good week and you should be seeing some more from me this week. Lyrics are below, and remember to get that comment in first
Lyrics of the Week: (Last week's winner: None)
Hurray for a child
That makes it through
If there's any way
Because the answer lies in you
They're laid to rest
Before they know just what to do
Their souls are lost
Because they could never find
In darkness,
SO Halcyon (Sith)/COG/Dark Council [GMRG: CoG]
