Introduction

Ok folks first the bad news half the house has been AWOLed, we gave enough warnings and two checks so there are no excuses. Anyone we AWOLed is welcome to return to the house as long as they will be active. As a result of this the Nighthawks have been emptied completely.

The good news, I'm now a pleased QUA since those of you who remain have been busy and mail bombed my inbox and given both Tiss and I some work to do. :P

3: Comps

Quake in fear your house summit is plotting some new comps for you to sink your teeth into, we just have to iron out some of the details. You have been warned. :P

The HMR run on continues, it's good practice for any of the bigger comps which will come along. It's located at the following address,

Weekly Report from the Office of the Krath High Priestess

NEW COMPETITION: A New Menace

Some time has passed since the Brotherhood moved to Antei. Now, far away from the Emperor's Hammer and the New Republic, a new threat rises over the Clans of the Dark Brotherhood, who have only recently strengthened their positions in their respective systems.

We'd like you to write a story (1 1/2 page TNR 12 minimum) about the new enemy of the Dark Brotherhood, as the two sides prepare for the upcoming conflict... The content of your entry is open to your own interpretation of the topic, but make sure that you not only tell an interesting story, but also cover basic issues such as what/who the new threat is, why they are a threat, and the response of the Brotherhood.

Competition closes 31st January, please send entries in .doc or .txt. (If we have some interesting entries, we may base future competitions around the 'new menace'. But this will be dependent on the suitability of the winning entries.)

In closing,

Congrats to everyone who got awards or promoted this week, the level of activity that is being shown makes me proud to be the QUA of this House. All I ask is that you keep it up so that we can maintain our position as the head house of Naga Sadow. Hopefully next week will see more awards and promos but only if you stay busy people. If you've written a piece of DB related fiction that doesn't fall into the requirements for a comp send it on to me and Tiss, it all counts. As always any ideas or question feel free to bitch at us. It's our job.
