Let's see, what can I say.
I think we'll keep this one short. There's a lot I could probably say, but I want you all to be able to read this, in entirety. House Summits, especially, should know what's going on, so that you can pass along any pertinent information to your Houses.
Cestus is doing great. In the first portion of the Obelisk Rite of Supremacy, Cestus is holding in at a strong third, with nearly 300 points. The greatest portion of that goes in thanks to Shadow Warrior. He's been extremely active in the competition, and he has not only the gratitude of his House, but mine, as well. I'd also like to point out Scorpio Sith, who has fought in a great number of battles. He's been a great example not only to new members, of the activity that can be sought for, but to older members, alike. Cannabisia has also been working hard to gain victories for Tarentum, which is great. He's whoopin' ass in JK, whenever he can find people brave enough to face him.
Capital Gains ends TOMORROW! Anyone who is writing a story (which, I'm just waiting for Mav to tell me we had no less than 10 submissions, right?), have it mailed to Mav by tomorrow evening. It doesn't have to be anything grand, but House Summits, especially, we need to be making an effort. We have to be providing an example, and we have a lot of talent. Let's encourage that talent, and the best way to do so is to show everyone the way. So far, I know mine is in, and I also know that Mav received a submission from Welshman. Excellent job, Welshman. Again, anyone else, have one in tomorrow.
In Clan reports, I'm going to be starting up something new. Clan reports will contain fiction, to provide a sort of reference point about the fictional things that will be happening in Tarentum. They won't be massive stories, and I may just provide a link to an on-going story put up at the Clan site, but I'm not sure yet. I'll be starting that next week, I believe.
On a personal note, I've started school. Yep, Sithie is finally a college freshman. Time is now much more limited for me than it was before. Point being, I need help. I need everyone to be working their own parts, and being active. Help everyone out. There's more of you out there, who aren't in leadership positions at the moment, who have the ability to pass on skills, and help new members get active. Let's just do what we can to ensure the numbers of Tarentum are going up, including the participation numbers. ESPECIALLY the participation numbers. That's what we're all here for, to be part of the fun, and to be doing something. During school times, and whatnot, we may not be as active, but we can still all hang out on IRC, or whatnot, and still stay as a group, and make sure the bond is still there.
Anyways, things are going strong. Let's just see if we can raise it up another notch, and press ourselves higher still. Let's rock this place, Tarentum.
