Its that time again... running away not allowed.

1. GJW- Its coming up. The Dark COuncil is pulling everything together, last I heard. I want everyone to participate as much as possible. Its a lot of fun and you can get some nice awards. House Gladius members will be rewarded for any effort they make, and I'll be talking with Sith and Rekio about appropriate awards once I discover how many/what type of events there are.

2. Medals- Only 2 this week. KAP Kidouses was awarded a Star of Antei for his consistent work in the Keepers phyle. KE Telona won 2nd place in the New Menace competition and was rewarded with a Crescent w/ ruby star.

3. Run-on- Things are going well. Enough people have begun to participate, but you have to have at least 3 posts in order for people to be considered for an award. Preferably more. Some of the posts do need to be a bit longer.

4. Games- You should have received an e-mail from Dranik if you did not already post on the message board. Please take the time to answer this question, even if you don't have any of the games.

5. Phyle news- I'm trying something new here and if it doesn't work, then I'll go back to the old system.

6. Interphyle whodunnit- Those people who signed up need to get in touch with Telona. I heard she wasn't to pleased with current participation at the moment. Nor am I. The only reason I'm not involved is because I got caught in the middle of the transition to the QUA job and this month is a bit busy for me (but, come March, things will be different).

7. Communication- There has been somewhat of a lack of communication on the part of the membership of the House. Message board topics go unanswered, as do e-mails. I hear very little from a small amount of people. This simply isn’t going to cut it. We all joined the DB to have fun and if you think sitting around and doing nothing is fun, then transfer to the Rogues. I hear the seats there are nice and comfortable.

   On the other hand, if you want to have fun, get in touch. Participate and let us know what you think and want to do. I enjoy being in touch with the members and it is my job to help make this a great House. I can't do that entirely by myself. Thanks to those that have been in touch with me.

8. March Madness- Come March (and maybe into April, depending on how long the GJW lasts), things are going to pick up in the House. I’m going to be doing some “Spring cleaning” so to speak. I’ve got several plans to implement to help get this House organized. How many of these things (which will remain secret for now) get implemented will depend on how well you participate in the GJW. There are two reasons why this is starting in March and not now:

   1. I am rather busy with school stuff through the end of February
      
   2. What goes with February? Nothing spiffy like March Madness. I suppose Frenzy would work, but I don’t have time for a frenzy right now.
