Hey everybody, hope you had a great week. This week has been incredibly busy on my end but I think things might still be hectic for a while. Well, no one ever said being a chemist was easy. Anyway busy me makes a short report for you.

First, I’m sorry I had to bail on our phyle competition team, but as I said time was too short that I didn’t think I could do an adequate job and that would be unfair to everyone involved. However, there are some other great competitions to be involved in. The HAD rite of initiation comp ends this week, I don’t know how many submissions there were but I don’t think it was too many. If you hurry, you can still submit and probably get a medal. In addition, my competition ends on Friday and I have yet to receive any submissions, which disappoints me, as this is even easier than my last idea. All I need is a one-line motto that describes our house. You may or may not include an explanation; all I want is a motto. The winner gets a Sapphire crescent; kind of nice prize for no work but I needed to offer something. In reality, there is no reason to not do this competition as it might take at the most five minutes, but it’s up to you.

We have some congratulations to go out, I know I will probably miss something but anyway, our Quaestor has recently passed the IRC Channel Operator course with a score of 96. Acolyte Ramser has continued with his training and was awarded a Dark cross for his participation and level of activity in the House. We also have an active team in the phyle competition. Good job to all who did something, I’m sure there was more but this is what I’ve heard about.

Last thing, I have handed out one Aedile task so far so this leads me to believe that people are progressing with their training. However, I want to be sure that this program is working before I hand it off to the new Rollmaster. Therefore, I’m asking that all masters (with active students) send me a brief note over email about how things are going, how far until promotion, any problems or questions, etc. This will give me an idea whose active and where the project is and can hopefully make it better.
