The Third Sith War

The biggest news this week is obviously the release of the Third Sith War. In the first two days we have already seen over twenty matches played and a number of other submissions such as single player and graphics entries already having been made. Full details of the competition can be found here.

The awards are pretty substantial, ranging from Clan Titles, to Gold Novas right the way to new ideas such as Order Titles. As you may also have read there will also be Starfighter awards present to all Clans at the conclusion of the Third War, the exact numbers and types of ships reflective of the positions in which the Clans come. So there are loads of reasons to take part- better yet even members of the Krath and Obelisk Orders can play, and there are all sorts of things like ACC Fighting and Allegiance Ladders to take part in, so theres no reaosn for anyone not to take part and help out their Clan!

Sith CORE rewrite nearing completion

Well Malik Sadow has promised me that Sith CORE should be complete this weekend, so with some luck we'll see whether it can get pushed through the Headmasters office this week for a release next weekend. I think you'll all be pleased with the rewrite, its a lot more factually based now with more useful and relevant information to the history of the Sith, and the Order in particular, plus the new history is far more concise and links us in nicely to the Krath and Obelisk.

The Order of Serpentis

The more I say the more questions I get asked, well, to clarify the best approach I've had so far to describe the goal of the Order of Serpentis would be to call it an "Order Title" as oppossed to a Clan Title. Essentially the Order of Serpentis will be a group of elite members of the Sith Order, the Sith Top Guns as it were. Still, development and a certain degree of approval for a few ideas still needs to be finalised, so expect more news on the Order next week.

Sith Headquarters

With the Third Sith War out I can now turn my attention back to some of the backlogged projects the office had put on hold. The headquarters is something I wish to get completed this week, so hopefully by next weekend I'll be able to show everyone the new design for the Sith headquarters, homeworld, home system, private death star and whatever else I can convince the Grand Master to let us have :P
