I'll have to start off this report with some bad news because I have been informed that there may be a cheater around the Shadow Academy who is passing around course solutions. I thus have to strongly warn everyone away from making use of any Cheat Sheets in passing tests. Thus, from now on, if I catch anyone using any pre-typed solutions by a different member, they will be exposed to the mercy or lack thereof by the Justiciar.

However - if you have used such a cheat in the past and wish to come forward voluntarily, I will not give you away. All that can happen to you is that you'll have to redo the course on your own (which should be easy with the preparation you have). If I catch you on my own however, you'll be dealt with the normal way. I do have ways to check courses, and I will do so.

So, bottom line: If you have used a cheat sheet, your best way of action is just telling me who you got it from (preferably with the actual mail/log). If you use a cheat sheet in the future, there is no way out at all. I mean it. I will treat cheating in the SA every bit as harshly as cheating in a competition.

Sorry to come across harsh here, but I'd rather be clear than have to report a lot of people. You don't need to get yourself demoted for following the wrong example.

Now to more pleasant things:

I have received several good applications for the new Leadership EP and am closing apps. I'll have to confer with Spears before announcing the new owner of the position, but whoever it will be, will be very suitable.

Then, I've spent a lot of time this week helping grade Capital Gains submissions for Mav and I can say I've liked many of the stories a lot. There was an interesting spectrum of writing around. You'll probably hear the results soon.

Finally, I'm happy to tell you that soon, there will be not one but two new Krath courses. Vail Aquillarum has provided me with an excellent advanced curriculum on story writing and Arania Lawakiro is currently working on the basic course to go with it. I'm expecting to release these two simultaneously, some time this week.
