House Cestus Report for 3-12-2004
Hello everyone. Welcome to another exciting weekly House Cestus report. I'm finally getting used to this college schedule, and it doesn't seem to be taking up too much time. Homework can be a real pain in the ass though...luckily for me I'm only taking three classes, one of which doesn't give me homework. College English and Math classes have some real bitching homework; consequently, it's pretty time consuming. The good news is I have a nice four day weekend to get it all done, so it's almost a guarentee that I'll turn Thursday homework in on time. Okay, enough about my week. On with the report...

The Third Sith War is a competition to decide which Clan hold's the title of "1'st Clan of the Sith". Although a Sith oriented Vendetta by nature, the third Sith War can be viewed as a special case. Currently, our neighboring House Tridens hold the Title of 1'st House of the Sith, and with our help they (and infact, the entire clan) will be able to continue to hold that title. What this means is that anyone can participate in this, regardless of your Order, and earn participation points. Here's the point tallies so far:

Clan Naga Sadow: 145
Clan Scholae Palatinae: 107
Clan Satal Keto: 77
Clan Exar Kun: 25
So at the moment, we are currently in First Place! However, these latest scores don't include alot of other Clans submissions (Tie Fighter SP Mission Submissions, Arconas First Place in the XvT MP Ladder, etc), so we really need to bust ass and get some things done these last couple of days. The Sith War ends in two days. If you have the time, take a look at the Sith War website linked above for ways to submit and do so! All participants in this will be rewarded with a medal and/or promotion, so if you'd like one or the other, it's a guarentee you'll get it as long as you participate.

The new Combat Master of the Antei Combat Center is Gryffon. Along with his appointment comes a few new changes to Guilds & Societies. While I'd love to list everything here, there's entirely too much information, so I'll just give you guys a link so you can readup on the changes yourselves. It's important if you wish to partake in a DB Guild and/or Society.
As of writing, only 7 of you have replied to the Absent Without Leave Check. You only have until next Tuesday (March 16'th) to reply! If you want to remain a member of House Cestus and the Dark Brotherhood, be sure to send me an e-mail ([Log in to view e-mail addresses]) stating something along the lines of "I'm here" or you'll be removed from the Cestus roster. Be sure to include your ID Line or DB name so I know who you are. It's important you do this, guys.

This is very important if you want to be an active member of Cestus, and have a fun time in the Dark Brotherhood. It's a free chat program (and much more than that!) where you can meet up with other DB members and discuss anything you'd like. You can send files, and even arrange multiplayer matches! You can download it (it's free) at the link above. Once you install it fill in the values such as name, e-mail address, etc and log on to an Undernet server such as Random EU Server: eu.Undernet.Org or something of the like. Once connected join channels #DB and #Tarentum. If you have any questions about IRC, just e-mail me and ask away.
This is a really cool event that everyone should participate in if they can find the time. Every Saturday, members of the Dark Brotherhood, Rebel Squadrons, and other online clubs meetup to play multiplayer games such as Jedi Knight, Jedi Outcast, Jedi Academy, X-Wing vs Tie-Fighter, X-Wing Alliance, and Allegiance. It takes place on IRC in the channel #OuterRim. It starts at 4 PM EST and lasts about 8 hours.
Allegiance is Multi-Player Space Combat Sim that's storming across the DB. It's a free game, with the best way to describe it being Tribes 2 in space, with a mix of Tie-Fighter and Starcraft kicked in for good measure. It is an awesome game, and I highly recommend it. You'll need to download three different files to install, run, and play the game on the Dark Brotherhood server. They're linked below:
