I’m bahaack. :-P

Despite some incidents (which were class-related, and would have happened even if we weren’t on base), I had an extremely good week. We managed to be the best group in the platoon again (as usual. :-P ), learned a lot of useful stuff (first aid, warmth and cold injuries, map-reading, etc), did fun stuff (crawling towards your sergeant through the woods, with a helicopter flying overhead several times.), etc.

You probably have seen movies involving basic training, and got an image of drill sergeants? Imagine how they are when you do everything right, and within time. They become a lot nicer then. Ours even got us some warm snacks for lunch in the field. The entire platoon was forced to eat bread, and we were eating hotdogs. “Okay guys. You worked hard, so now it’s time to relax. Lunch is on me.”

Anyways, I’m getting off topic. For those interested, some pictures will be online in a few days, including me in full combat gear, camouflaged. :-P

On topic:

the HMR-HAD run-on has been approved by Jac, and we’re getting a separate MB for it. Everything is in order, and we have a storyline, which will be posted on said MB as soon as it is up.

Two competitions are pending approval. One is by Janos, and is a caption competition. The other is by me, and I’m hoping to get some fun stuff from it. :-)
