(Jac, before you ask about that Taldryan match, I'm holding it over for the next Taldryan-Arcona showdown - I'm sure there will be one!)

LOL...didn't even cross my mind till you said something...:)
Liar, liar, your pants are on fire! :P
But doesn't this mean Tally would have won the encounter if that one win had been counted?
Ara - no, the score was 17-16 (I seem to recall) to Arcona at the time that Dagger's ISP blew up. Had I counted it as a final score, that would have given Arcona two more wins (it was a 2v2 match); had I awarded a forfeit to Taldryan, then they would have taken this particular encounter.
However, I felt that it's not really Dagger's fault that he couldn't get back online after this incident occurred. Had he deliberately stayed off line in the hopes he wouldn't lose the match, then yes, it would qualify as a forfeit - however in these circumstances, (a) one can't claim that, and (b) both he and Kelric have said that they're more than willing to continue the match, neither of which point to his having deliberately run off to avoid a loss against him.
As it is, I have given both teams several options, which they have the choice of taking up as they choose to.
I try not to award forfeits where there is reasonable doubt as to whether someone was subject to circumstances beyond their control.
Ah, ok.
Hmm.. I think I begin seeing hexes everywhere :p
LOL. I wasn't lying...:)
I seriously didn't know when I first mentioned it that those were your circumstances. I just thought that something might have been lost or something.
I agree with you completely about the forfeit. I hate forfeits, which is hy that even though I have been refused about 5 times, I haven't turned them in. I think they're cheap...::shrugs:: I'm glad that it didn't get awarded, actually.
