Hey all. It's time again for more of my ever-popular ramblings! The biggest news in my life this week was, on Saturday, we did some extraction practicals in my EMT class. It was pretty cool, going through scenarios played out with "victims" and everything. The end of the semester is coming up soon, for me, and if my schedule ever gets mobbed because of finals and all (I'm sure it will), I'll let you all know.

Up on the top of the list of things that I would recommend is--yep, Allegiance. If any of you haven't yet heard of this game, it's a real time strategy/space combat simulator. The best part about the game is that it's really fun, pretty easy, and is actually a well-made game. The second best part about the game is that it's absolutely free. Yep, it's free. All you have to do is download and install. I'd really love to see Tarentum start forming our own team of players; if we did this, we could start challenging other teams, Clans, etc. I think it's something that could definitely bring back the spark in flying that waxes and wanes with time.

Oh, and if anyone needs help figuring out what to download, etc., feel free to drop ane mail here; there's enough of us who either have it and play it, or have started it recently, and can help you figure it out.

The Sith War results were delayed a bit, but they should be out within the next week, hopefully. Goat had some RL difficulties that sidetracked him, but life often happens, and we hope things improve for him. When the results are released, I hope to see Tarentum sitting at the top again. You all did excellent, and you should be proud of your efforts and accomplishments.

Rekio and I continue to work towards the Clan competition that will be coming. We're working on dividing the Clan up into two teams, one to be led by myself, and the other by Rekio. It'll have multiple events, and we're looking for some great participation from everyone.

Some of you may remember these next two projects of mine. One, the master-apprentice project. Any of you who feel that you could use someone to help you figure out the DB, or just help you find new paths to activity, please, email me. I want to get people paired to help increase the activity, and make sure that new people and long-time members alike can find their purpose, as well as their own niche. If you need help, a master can be a wonderful advantage.

Two, the project of titles, land grants, and the Rite of Challenge is going to be released in the Clan comp that Rekio and I are planning. There's going to be a few events that will tie into it, and help develop it, as well. One of the things coming with this project is a system of "Ritae." Those of you who know of VTM (Vampire: The Masquerade) may know of the Sabbat, and their Ritae. Basically, this is going to increase certain fictional aspects, and help develop the sense of realism within Tarentum, and the DB as a whole. More info on this will be released when we start the comp.

The GJW continues to loom on the horizon; no word yet on when it will be released, but the DC continues to work on it, as well as other projects for the benefit of the DB.

I think I'll leave off there; you have all been doing a great job, and I appreciate it. There's a lot to do in Tarentum, and the DB as a whole. For those interested in writing, there's the KMT's, the ACC, and Anshar has been releasing comps faithfully. There's still the "In Th Shadows" run-on that has been particularly of interest to everyone. For the gamers, there's comps going on; a new one of note is Zill competition, Brothers DownUnder. It's going to be a comp more suited to members in Australia, but also Europe. There's also the competitions that are regular, the ICTE on Saturdays in #outerrim, Tuesday Night Showdown in #gmrg, Thursday Night Bash in #gmrg... and I'm forgetting what days the Space Jam and Battle of Antei comps are in #sith.

Rekio, or anyone, if someone can mention those days when the other comps are, I'd appreciate it. I apologize for failing to remember right now. Anyways, I need to get back to english homework (another paper, in a class of never-ending papers). We've had a great week, and I know we continue to get better with each passing week. This is the best Clan there is, and I'm grateful to be able to serve as your CON.
