Report for Week Ending 27/3/2004

Introduction

Since I didn't write a report last week this one will cover the last two weeks worth of news so it will seem a bit repetitive at times. First of all, Tiss has been appointed PCON of the clan and Mal is on leave for the next while so now she's acting CON too. Poor Tiss. :P

In regards to AED of HMR, pending approval DJK Korras will be the new AED, may the dark side have mercy on your soul!

CNS came fourth in the Sith War and a big thanks to all who took part in some aspect of it.

The Character Development comps are back!

Worst Defeat - Describe your worst ever defeat (in character) in the first person point of view. The defeat can be a battle, or even a personal defeat such as realising your own limitations.

No minimum or maximum on the length, but be as detailed as possible. Describe the incident, and how it made you feel, during and after.

Through the Looking Glass

This is a cooperative writing competition. One jedi above DJK and one apprentice enter the competition together (these don't have to be official pairings). Each person may enter only once. Contact your QUA or myself if you cannot find a partner.

You must write about one event at which you were both present.

Firstly, the two of you should write a piece of fiction in the 3rd person explaining the event.

Secondly, the master and the apprentice should individually write about the event from their own perspective (in the 1st person).

This gives you three pieces of writing to submit to me and Tiss.

So, for instance, the 'real' event could be a combat. The apprentice's version could have him saving his master from certain death... but the master's version could be very different :P

Don't double space your font: whether TNR, Verdana, Arial or alike, 11-12 points, written in .doc file. Submit all three fictions together by sending them to Alanna ([Log in to view e-mail addresses]) and Tissaya ([Log in to view e-mail addresses]). End Date: 4/23/2004

This should be written entirely as an interchange of dialogue.

There is a competition running by the Head Master's office!

And it's called "Head Count".

And you can win nice, old-style, DB level Crescents because it was approved before the change. That's Diamond, Ruby and Amethyst.

But before you get those shinies, you have to submit.

And by that I mean to THIS COMPETITION. And no other one. Or rather, the other ones, too, but this one first.

You have until April 1 to get me some heads. Or I'll have your head.
