Hello everyone! Lots of stuff to put in this weeks report, so itll probably be a long one. Also I just want to mention that this upcoming week is going to be pretty busy for me (2 tests and a presentation) so my IRC time might be down a bit. But if you need to get a hold of me either leave me a message on IRC or email me and Ill get back to you as soon as I can!

DB News

-The Sith War ended last week, and the results were released this weekend, here they are:

1st - Tarentum 740

Taldryan got 3rd! That is pretty much what I had expected us to get after seeing the first weeks results, but I still want to congratulate everyone on their participation. We do not have a strong Sith group within our Clan, but we still managed to place 3rd. I especially want to recognize Godo Nurok for placing 1st in the graphics portion and 2nd in the mission design portion. Also a big thanks to QUA Shadow and PCON Sharad for writing and putting our Clan Battleplan into Flash, great job guys! Excellent work everyone!

-As some of you may remember, a long time back there was an Obelisk Rite of Supremacy run under the past OHC, Khobai. Well he left and weve been waiting for results ever since, and this week we finally got them! So here they are:

1st - Taldryan: 860 points

2nd - Tarentum: 730 points

3rd - Naga Sadow: 551 points

Exar Kun: 262 points

Satal Keto: 237 points

Arcona: 173 points

Scholae Palatinae: 114 points

House Dinaari has placed first AGAIN, and retained its title as First House of the Obelisk, good work! I would like to thank all those who participated, including Shaithis, Shadow, Sharad, Benevolent Whiner, David, Swiper, Wolf, and Dask_k!

-DGM Jac devoted a section of his report to the topic of Familes, which has become a hot topic in the last few weeks, I think everyone should read what he has to say, so here it is:

Plain and simple I'm not going to put up with this crap anymore. What started off as an innocent association with the Longs, Entars and Cantors had moved into a destructive force in the DB.

RECRUITING OPENLY FOR FAMILY MEMBERSHIP IS ILLEGAL AND WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. IF YOU MASS MAIL ANYONE, PROMISE PROMOTIONS OR MEDALS, OR EVEN THINK ABOUT GIVING ANY BIAS TOWARDS FAMILY MEMBERS I WILL HUNT YOU DOWN AND PUT YOU BEFORE THE COJ.

There, I said it. I will NOT have these families overtake clans as the source of fellowship. If this crap continues, the DC will be forced to regulate it.

Your CLAN is your FAMILY. Your CLAN! There's no need for this side crap amongst the new members. The reason some people who have been here for years do it is because they have written it into hundreds of pages of fiction.

Read this and take it to heart, YOUR CLAN IS YOUR FAMILY, that is the most important part of Jacs statement. The DBs leaders will be working on hammering out some definite guidelines for Families sometime in the future, so watch for those.

-For any of you who have trouble connecting to the Taldryan JO server, there is another server now available. The IP for this server is 82.208.136.26 and the password is YMCA.

-There have been a few changes to the Thursday Night Bash rules. From now on, you can play the same person twice in each platform, meaning if you own JO and JA you can play 2 JO games and 2 JA games with the same opponent etc. Also, SWGB and FC are on the list of games to be played still, under "GB" and "FC" when signing up.

-The Justicar has put up a new poll for everyone in the DB to vote on. To vote in this poll, login on djb.com then go to the Dark Jedi Polling Center and click on the top poll, then make your selection. EVERYONE SHOULD VOTE IN THIS POLL.

-The HM is running a competition, named Heads will Roll. You can read the competition description here:

-The Krath Monthly Topics for March are The Interrogation and Dark Deal, see djb.org for details. There is also a new cooperative competition called Through the Looking Glass and a continuation of the character development competitions, entitled Worst Defeat. Details on all of these can be found on djb.com or in the KHPs weekly report.

-There is currently a XWA WoW (Week of War) being held, going from March 26th to April 1st. These are played on the zone and run through Battlestats. If you are interested and have any questions let me know and I can help you.

-The Antei Combat Center is a great place to be active and have some fun writing battles against your fellow brethren!! To go check it out and get started on participation, go to http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.org/dbjedi/acc/. Im a Judge, so if you join you will be able

Weekly Multiplayer Competitions

Members of ALL orders are welcome at all of these weekly Multiplayer competitions, and you are welcome to play ANY game platform sanctioned by the Brotherhood (i.e. JK, JO, JA, XvT, XWA, and SWGB). Cluster of Fire medals will be given out for every 1 victory or 3 losses, and the player with the most wins for each event also receives a Crescent! These events are great ways of staying active while honing your skills and earning medals all at the same time!!

Taldryan News

-Many of you may have heard rumors circulating about a Taldryan member, Tiberius Claudius Julius Agripper Germanicus Darius Nero Tang'va, being involved in cheating on Shadow Academy tests. The Chamber of Justice has handled the situation, and Tiberius has plead guilty to four counts of cheating on tests. His punishment is a demotion to the rank of Apprentice, and four months probation. Let this unfortunate circumstance serve as a warning, cheating is not the way to do things. Everyone is in this club to have fun, and if people cheat that ruins the fun for everyone else. I trust you all, so hopefully this wont ever happen again!

-A few weeks ago I mentioned that I would be taking submissions for names for a new Ship that Taldryan is going to obtain. Well I have taken all the submissions I will be taking, and something soon the poll will be up on the Taldryan site for all of you to vote on. That way all of YOU get to pick the ships new name! I will email the Clan as soon as the poll is setup.

-If any of you have ever looked at the Possessions page on the Taldryan site, you probably noticed that the name of our Victory-Class Star Destroyer is the Cantor. This ship was named in honor of the now-Justicar Keirdagh Taldrya Cantor, for his years of hard work and dedication to Clan Taldryan. However the name Cantor is also the name of one of the DBs families, and this has caused some confusion. Therefore we have decided to rename the ship. From now on, the ship is hereby named the Victory-Class Star Destroyer Dark Prophet! Dark Prophet was a nickname Keirdagh Taldrya Cantor used to use, so the ship is still named in his honor, but now it will not cause any confusion due to its semblance to a family name. Changes on the Taldryan website and DB Order of Battle website will be made as soon as possible.

-It has been two weeks, so its time for me to announce the two newest members of the Cohors Praetoria Taldryae! The new members of my Honor guard, to serve for the next two weeks areChaosrain and Toao Brisance! Both of these guys are new members who have done what all of Taldryans leaders stress all of you do right now, which is GET ON IRC! Congrats to them both!
