Well, my first full week of summer vacation has gone alright. No luck in finding a job yet, which may have some unfortunate consequences for Taldryan (see Clan news section). Most of my time IRL has been (and will continue to be) spent looking for a job, oh the joy. Ok, report time..

DB News

-The second annual Dark Brotherhood Independence Games are winding down! Check out the site here: http://independence.starfleetacademy.net/main.html

Then pick which events you want to participate in and get going, you only have about a week left!

Kaiann announced the awards for the people with the most participation in the IG this year. If there are enough total submissions there is a possibility to get a Sapphire Blade!

-DGM Jac announced the new LM (Lord Marshall) and CoG, they are James Mckenna and Demosthenes respectively! You can see the LMs first report on djb.com right now!

-KHP Alanna is on leave until next Wednesday (I know its tough, but I think well survive until then)

Weekly Multiplayer Competitions

Members of ALL orders are welcome at all of these weekly Multiplayer competitions, and you are welcome to play ANY game platform sanctioned by the Brotherhood (i.e. JK, JO, JA, XvT, XWA, and SWGB). Cluster of Fire medals will be given out for every 1 victory or 3 losses, and the player with the most wins for each event also receives a Crescent! These events are great ways of staying active while honing your skills and earning medals all at the same time!!

To make it easier for score tracking, please try and use the following report format if possible: Winners report to the host - PLATFORM (PIN#1) PLAYER#1 SCORE (PIN#2) PLAYER#2 SCORE

-Last week I announced the beginning of the Clan Rituals program for all new rank promotions within Taldryan. Today Im going to announce another project Ive been working on (and will be for awhile), the Taldryan Codex. The Codex will basically be a Dark Side Compendium full of Taldryan information. It will contain current Clan information as well as history collected from the Clan Heritage Program. Anything and everything you can think of will be contained in the Codex. This includes ALL House and higher competitions. Each competition from this point on will have their description recorded in the Codex, along with the winners names and their submissions. As you can tell, this is a very large project, and is going to take awhile. I have just about two chapters completed so far and Im hard at work getting information for the rest!

-New Cohors Praetoria will be delayed until next week, so Locust and Nexusmage get an extra week (and yes, its because I like them more, hehe).

-I announced last week that Sharad and I are going to revive an old Taldryan program entitled the Taldryan Times and I challenged you to discover for yourself what it is. Im not sure how many of you discovered what this project is about, so now Ill fill you all in. The Tal Times are a Clan newsletter, kind of like the Dark Voice is the DB newsletter. It has been used several times in the past, but unfortunately due to boring content it has always died after awhile. Sharad and I know this, and therefore we have brainstormed a bunch of new ideas that should make the Tal Times exciting and a must-read for all Taldryan members. Some of these ideas include Mock interviews, Tal Times Trivia (for medals), member-submitted IRC quotes, and other member submissions. There is also another portion of the Times that I am not revealing yet, because it is part of a much larger Clan project I am working on, more details on that in the future (I know, Im full of secrets!). But one thing for all of you to think about, if there is ANYTHING specific that you want to see in the Taldryan Times, email me and let me know what it is!! The Tal Times are all about Taldryans members, so your input counts!

-PCON Sharad is going to be on an extended leave of absence for about the next two months. Our PCON is preparing for his wedding (yay Sharad!) along with furiously working to get the money to pay for it! So lets all wish him well and look forward to when he gets back!

-This spot of the report always gives you the information for the Taldryan JO server (which is: Taldryan JO server ? IP Address 216.55.167.111, Password is Talpwnz). However my unemployed status, along with the fact that my savings have run out, make it very possible that at the end of this month I will not have the $30 to pay for the server to keep running! This means that there will not be a Taldryan JO server any longer (this is bad!!)! One way we can keep it going is for some of YOU, the members who use the server, to mail me some donations so we can keep it going. Any money you can send at all will be very helpful, and will ONLY be used to pay for the Tal server operation. If everyone sent me just $5, we could keep the Tal server running for a long time to come! So please help out your Clan and help me keep the Tal server going! If you want to send me a donation, either msg me on IRC or email me and I will give you my address to send the money to, please help out!
