Ok well its been an exciting week of job hunting/odd-job doing for me! On top of that Ive been attempting to get TIE Fighter to work on Windows XP, but XP hates old programs and therefore I hate XP! Other then that Ive been working on GJW events myself and emailing all of you over and over again! ? So its report time, here we go

The Fifth Great Jedi War

You see this puts us behind several Clans, so lets work on that! But it also shows that we have the most posts for the Clan Run-on so far, in fact we only need 14 more posts and it will count for points for Clan Taldryan, so post for the Run-on!

-Also I realized that some of you may own TIE, XvT, or XWA and not know how to install/play/submit custom missions! So here are the webpages where you can find explanations on how to do this:

These links will explain to you how to install the battles, play them with a new pilot file, and then find/submit that pilot file for points!

-You may have noticed that the JK, JO, and JA missions for this round are still not available to download and play yet. They should be released very soon and when they are I will email the Clan with links to them as well as explanations on how to play/submit them.

-Just like the Independence games, the GJW has a submission form for you to use (you can find it here: http://gjw.darkjedibrotherhood.com/php/). There are links to the form on the GJW website. You need to use this form to send in all of your submissions. BUT also SAVE all your submissions on your computer, you never know when the form might not work, so SAVE EVERYTHING!!

Fiction

1.You and a small team of clansmen have been assigned an archaeological site to excavate and report to the Krath High Priestess. This site is located in the Shadowlands of Antei, and is of relatively minor importance. Describe your experiences as a member of the team. What sort of planning went underway to prepare for the dig? What did you find? Were there any problems? Length: 5 pages, 12 point times, 1 inch margins, .doc format. Submit here.

2.The Dark Council has asked for your assistance in interrogating the Antaran captives to learn more about their Council. Detail your interrogation techniques. Length: 1 page, 12 point times, 1 inch margins, .doc format. Submit here.

3.You are an Apprentice to one of the Triumvirate of the Star Chamber (Tiamat, Okemi, Ferran) Describe the final days of the Star Chamber, retell the last moments of your life, or the aftermath if you survived the Obscuration. Length: 2-4 pages, 12 point times, 1 inch margins, .doc format. Submit here.

Poetry

A song and a surreal series of images have haunted your dreams. Every time you close your eyes you fear what you will see. Record the song, and provide a one-page extrapolation or interpretation of the songs meaning, and of your visual experiences. Length: 2 pages, 12 point times, 1 inch margins, .doc format. Submit here.

Clan Run-On

Re-tell the events that have occurred since the end of the Sith - Antaran war. What was your Clan's role in the conflict? How did you take advantage of the situation for your Clan's gain? How did the events affect your Clan's goals and long-term ambitions? Length: 150 posts on Clan message board. No submission necessary.

XWA

-You are a part of the force designed to destroy the Antaran remnants. Complete the battle created for your platform following the missions as detailed below:

Mission 1: The Antarans have a wide variety of ship yards from which they operate. Scout out these yards and return with intelligence

Mission 3: The Antarans have planned a counter-attack against our PLT Vorago. Defend it while destroying the last of the remnants!

Graphics

Clan Taldryan News

-With the release of the IG results, I will not name the two newest members of the Cohors Praetoria Taldryae! The lucky two areDark Sabre and Shadow! Dark Sabre got 4th overall out of the entire DB and Shadow placed in quite a few events as well, congratulations to both of you!

-All Clan Projects and Programs are on hold for the duration of the GJW.

-PCON Sharad is technically on leave but he will be around during the GJW to help out his Clan.

-Well I managed to get the money so the Taldryan JO server should stay up and not be cancelled, yay! Thanks to those of you who donated.

DB News

-Remember all news posts on djb.com are in character for the duration of the GJW, so that is why they are a little different than usual.

-The results for the Independence games can be found on the IG website. Clan Taldryan got second place, great job everyone!

-The Headmaster needs volunteers to catalog all the submissions from the IG, email him if you are interested

-If you send the Herald any emails, be sure to put [DB] in the subject line so he can separate them from his other email, or else they may get deleted!

-The Headmaster is also looking for someone to take over for Sharad as the Eclectic Pedagog of the Obelisk Core Shadow Academy course, apply to HM Kaiann if you are interested!

The Weekly Multiplayer Competitions are still going on regardless of the GJW. The dates and times can be found on the Clan Taldryan website in the competitions section.
