Prophecy Phyle Report #04 for 07-13-2004

This was a more productive week! =)

A very good writer comes back to activity! The Run On proceeds at a slow but steady pace. I’m VERY PROUD to be in Prophecy, as almost everyone in the Phyle is showing commitment and work in the Second Chapter of the War! Out of a total of 9 members within the Phyle, we got 7 signed up just for the ACC, which is excellent! Almost everyone has at least two ACC matches going, which is most excellent! We already got two graphics submissions and one fiction submission, and there’ll be more coming this week from what I’ve been told! Compared to Chapter One we got an increase of 77.77% regarding activity! VERY PROUD INDEED! =))

From my part, I thought that keeping just two ACC battles until I had my fictions done would be smart, otherwise I wouldn’t be able to focus properly on everything. But my opponents are taking so long to post in the battles… bah! I think I’ll have my fictions written within four or five days anyway, then I’ll jump into a few more matches. ^.^

It is looking very good, but we need to keep it up, or better, go even higher! We’re up against the allied strength of five other Clans, after all! Awesome, isn’t it? =P

-NEWS-

THE GREAT JEDI WAR MOVES ON! CHAPTER 2 IS UP! Until it’s done, nothing DBish else really matters! As it stands, we’re ALLIED with Taldryan, and AT WAR with everyone else. So if you see some shady character walking down the street and he doesn’t wear the Arconan or Taldryanite colors, you’re free to target him! Target him for a beating in the ACC or other MP, but keep things civilized over IRC, eh? We’re mean but we got manners! Also, there is one more writing event, a poetry one! =P

According to Jac, Clan Powers CAN BE USED in the Run Ons and fictions, as long as they are not decisive and uber-powerful. They can be used for dramatic purposes, but not to turn the tides in the battlefield! Very, very cool, this can add some color to our stories! =)

Remember to keep me updated, guys and girls! Everything done in each chapter will be shown until that chapter is finished. When the War ends I’ll compile aaaaall the activity invested on it so rewards can be properly given!

-GOALS/PLANS-

Rebuilding Prophecy so it has a meaning, an identity, will be my main focus as Tetrarch. How are we going to do it?

First of all, we'll be doing it together. It'd be pretty easy for me to just sit and do it all by myself, it'd be quick and shiny and mean nothing. It'll be far more interesting if we all take part in this, sharing ideas and bashing our brains against the keyboard together. Like I said, parts of the rebuild will be done as competitions, other parts won't. For the non-comp parts I'll create the PC (Prophets Circle), which is basically a discussion group made of those members of Prophecy who want to discuss (doh!) and give input to the more substabtial parts of the rebuild, such as writing our Phyle History;

New Phyle Motto: we'll have this changed, so it better reflects the nature of our Phyle. It will be the subject of a Phyle Competition;

Phyle Mailing list: up and running – [Log in to view e-mail addresses]. I’m pondering if we should keep this, individual mails has its advantages.

New Phyle Website: it is online. Some parts still look blank because they’ll be used to store what we create during the rebuilding.

The Big Three: these are the questions we'll be trying to answer with the make-up. "Who are we? What do we do? How do we do it?"

Once we have these accomplished, I trust we'll have a better understanding of our places in this organization, which will extend the fun the Brotherhood promotes to its fullest. :P
