Prophecy Phyle Report #09 for 08-19-2004

CHAPTER 3 IS OVER!!!!! The War is about to end… wheee! So far our Clan has 478 submissions, and Prophecy is still the most active Phyle! That rocks, guys, very good job indeed! Unfortunately, Tarentum managed to get a few more submissions than us… the results for chapter 3 (and 2, beh) are still being computed, so it’s early to know anything.

This was an interesting week… good stuff, bad stuff, but altogether, interesting. Now, without any further delay, let’s get to our report. =)

-NEWS-

PHYLE COMPETITION RESULTS: yay, we have a new motto! Again, I’d like to thanks everyone who took part in it: Kandos, Xiz, Isa, Stratah, Alex! I had some difficulty to judge it, if I could I’d pick all of them, so I even went around asking a few people for their opinions, which explains why I delayed it a bit! The results are:

First place: Isalka

Award: Crescent, Sapphire Star (Cr-1S)  

Winning motto: “The light that blinds our destiny will soon fade to shadow”  

Second place: Kandos

Award: Crescent, Emerald Star (Cr-1E)  

Submitted motto: “The future holds only darkness”  

Third place: Xizor

Award: Crescent, Topaz Star (Cr-1T)  

Submitted motto: “We watch, yet do not see / We listen, yet do not hear / We cry, yet we do not speak, Nought but the truth.”  

Congratulations Isa, Kandos and Xiz! =) Very good work everyone who submitted; I’m very proud of you guys! I’ll be forwarding the medal recommendations today! =))

Very nicey! I’d like to thank everyone who took part in Chapter 3! I’ll do something different this time: I’ll wait until the end of the War to give out the awards for activity, this way I can get you guys something bigger and more shiny! =P

-GOALS/PLANS-

Rebuilding Prophecy so it has a meaning, an identity, will be my main focus as Tetrarch. How are we going to do it?

First of all, we'll be doing it together. It'd be pretty easy for me to just sit and do it all by myself, it'd be quick and shiny and mean nothing. It'll be far more interesting if we all take part in this, sharing ideas and bashing our brains against the keyboard together. Like I said, parts of the rebuild will be done as competitions, other parts won't;

New Phyle Motto: done!

Phyle Mailing list: nah, we don’t need a mailing list. Individual mails are better. =P

New Phyle Website: I’ll have to find a new place to host it since I quit my ISP. Don’t worry, it’ll be done shortly. =)

The Big Three: these are the questions we'll be trying to answer with the make-up. "Who are we? What do we do? How do we do it?"

Once we have these accomplished, I trust we'll have a better understanding of our places in this organization, which will extend the fun the Brotherhood promotes to its fullest. :P
