• Oh, and I keep hearing bitching from various quarters about the fiction topics for the GJW. Please bear in mind that we had to set a range of topics - not everyone likes mission design... So if you don't like the topics for this chapter, cast your mind back and see whether you liked any of the topics.
  

It's all very well to complain, but if you're going to do so, please take the time to be constructive about it by suggesting topics that you would have preferred. This will at least give us some idea where we're going wrong. I keep saying this, but so far no-one has sent me a single suggestion as to how the topics could have been improved.

I'm starting to think that the bitching may just be from a couple of people who are finding the topics hard and are trying to make themselves feel better by dissing the competition. Very sad.

• Also, I'm at a conference from Mon 13th - Weds 15th, so I may not be able to respond to e-mail as promptly as normal.
