NEWS:

-Today I bought a new keyboard and mouse. The old keyboard was getting pretty sketchy (the “x”, “c”, and “a” buttons were dead. The old mouse was squashed in transport, leaving me without a right button for the past few days…then the left button died last night.

BTW….

-I have decided to step down.

Let it be known that tomorrow is my last official day as QUA of Kirleta.

This move has lain on my horizon for almost a month, but I have remained silent on the matter until now. I felt it best not to burden anyone with the obvious ramifications of a pending dual leadership change while we were still in the thick of the GJW. The looming, and uncertain departure date for Silent was bad enough.

It pains me to step down, but I must. This is the final year of my university program, and I expect to have a great increase in my workload. Considering that my father just retired, and my family finances were already feeling the pinch from my tuition (damn dirty gougers), I may also have to get a part time job as well…assuming I have time for one.

Having said all this, I’d like to point out that I am NOT going Rogue.

I’m staying in CSK, just not in a leadership role, and nowhere near as active as I have been in the past (though there will be sporadic bursts of high activity as I continue to spiral into insanity). I may also take up other functions around the DB.

The problem of replacing Kirleta’s leaders is currently being deliberated. Applications for these positions will NOT be taken at this time. It’s in the hands of the Summits, folks.

COMMUNICATIONS:

-Remember that we also have a message board…poor little underused thing. Go to your dossier, go to the CSK link, and go to the link for the MB. This is NOT the same board as under “MB” on the main DB site…though that one could use some posts too.

Congratulations to those who participated in the last chapter of the GJW. There’s a tiny bit more coming, so get ready for the next assault.

-Syn Kaek gets a Topaz Crescent for placing third in 4 of the Trivial Report comp.

-Xen’ gets an Emerald Crescent for winning week 2 of “Riddle me this”.

PROMOTIONS:

Congratulations go out to Pug on reaching the coveted rank of Dark Jedi Knight! Well earned. I’m ticked that I wasn’t able to confer this honour upon you myself, but it’s kind of hard to do so without an internet connection for a week. Oh well, enough of my grumbling. Continue to serve your Clan with dignity and honour, Knight. You might also want to get that leg looked at, I don’t think the bone is supposed to bend that way :P

-Final Sage is AWOL and shall be removed pending the MAA’s approval.

-The DB has embraced a new MP game platform called “Allegiance”. It’s available for FREE download at http://www.freeallegiance.org

The Clan is looking for a few good people to form the core of our very own Allegiance force. Are you one of them?

Some future competitions will also incorporate this platform.

-Join the ACC and do horrible, horrible things to one another.

-There are always Shadow Academy courses for your enlightenment.

-If there’s anything else you can think of doing, do it! Initiative is always a good thing and looked upon highly.
