The thinned ranks of House Galeres stood before Warmaster Kaek, the Acting-Quaestor. Kaek looked weary - his eyes were tired and his hair somewhat dishevelled. The Great Jedi War was over and the recent strife in Clan Arcona was only just subsiding. He looked out at the membership. His new lieutenants proudly wore their rank of Sergeant. Some of the new Apprentices were especially promising and had already been elevated to Novice. Kaek cleared his throat and began.

"Gentlemen. The Great Jedi War has been long and painful. Now it is at an end. It will take some time to sort out the true victors. Then we had the recent debacle which I am glad has been put behind us. Now we have new events on our horizon which I hope all of you will participate in. There will be many opportunities for you in the near future as soon as our next leader is chosen. With that, allow me to get to to the information you need to know."

XYLER LAWS

The enaction of the laws of our former Quaestor will be carried out soon. I have already submitted my list of those in violation to our Consul so that the Master At Arms will purge them. Soon, our House will be filled only with truly devoted members.

NEW MEMBERS

This week, I would like to welcome Guardian Haztix Arkandal Nartivchan and Apprentice Fang. You have chosen a fortuitous time to join us since there are so many great things on the horizon.

Many members will be leaving us as they are purged. I will not include that list here.

COBRA BRIGADE AND VIPER BRIGADE

Archpriest Strategos is Brigade Sergeant of Cobra Brigade now as was announced last week. The new leader of Viper Brigade is Jedi Hunter Tarax Eosphoros Dante Honos Kor. Long name! We shall just call him Tarax. Congratulations Tarax. In the future, Brigades will serve as a vital part of House functionality. I will clarify that later on.

I have only to give myself a Crescent with an Amethyst Star on behalf of my former ProConsul, Selket. This was for my victory in the trivia competition in CSK.

This week I have elevated Nit'Chu Tetsuo and Fang to the rank of Novice. Upon entering the Brotherhood, both have shown exemplary zeal. Fang is soon to qualify for the ACC and will participate in our new competition with Master Mejas Doto. Nit'Chu submitted to the Great Jedi War and has passed many SA courses. You WILL be rewarded for your activities people with both fun and with promotions/medals. Congratulations to the two of you!
