Important Stuff
Greetings, meat puppets. Its that time again
First of all, the results for the whole of the GJW were released in the latest Dark Voice. Go to the News page and read the Dark Voice, and find out how ahem well we did. o_O Oh, and check out those new medals hope I get me some of those ^_^
Secondly, a trailer for Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith has been released- go to http://www.worldofepic.net/ep3.mov to view it and let your mouth drop open in awe of the amazingness of this film. Yoda with a sabre the birth of Darth Vader Natalie Portman looking sexay oh, wait, ignore that last one ^_^ But anyway, I strongly recommend that you go and view the trailer. Now. Seriously, you can stop reading this report and go look at it. I wont mind. o_O
However, every silver-lined cloud has a black stormy bit in the middle we lost two members this week- Kali and Jerica Desdemona have left us due to real life pressures. They will be missed greatly sniffs
And now to cheer everyone up Manjis Competition Time! naff music plays Uh yeah. So anyway I just submitted a request for the next Aediles Fortnightly Competition, entitled (rather nicely, I thought) Ph34r t3h m4ch1n35. Specifics below:
Specifics: Technology. Love it or hate it, we all have to live with it. For this comp I want you to write me a short story about a piece of technology that your character can't live without. Could be a starship, a holodeck, a speeder bike, anything. Try and make it into a story- perhaps somebody steals your technology, leaving you in intense mental pain and suffering, and you have to kick some arse to get it back?
Start Date: 7th November
End Date: 21st November
Platforms: Fiction, 12 point Times New Roman. Try and write a minimum of two pages.
Awards: Third Level Crescents.

Oh, and of course there are the November MTs- the fiction is entitled Scars and the poetry Poison. And theres the Character Development Comp number 6- Entitled Friends Forever. vomits noisily
And of course, theres the Artisans competition even though I dont have a clue as to what its about. Ah well write something for that as well.
Medals, Promotions, Random Gubbins
Its gonna be a long section this week I just hope I got everyone down here we go.
Medals: Lenzar got an ungodly number of Cluster of Fires for regularly pwning on the Gaming Nights. Ive lost count of how many, exactly _ Lenzar also got a Crescent with a Quartz Star for the ICTE thingy, and two Dark Crosses- for winning lots and lots of matches. Oh, and a Legion of the Scholar for creating trivia for the weekly meeting. Blimey
Tissaya got a Crescent with a Sapphire Star for joint 3rd place in the October MT, Nightmare. And Muz got a Crescent with an Emerald Star for third place in the Halloween competition as Barney. . No comment.
Oh, and I got a bunch of medals for various competitions and stuff including 2 o_O Dark Crosses for testing the ACC Live Hall thingy. Won the match as well ^_^
Promotions: Link Vortex ascended to the rank of Novice for completing the first part of her trials. First step on the ladder congratulations!
Adian Griffin got upgraded to the rank of Guardian for completing the Guardian trials (duh.) Only uhm counts on his fingers TWO! Two more promotions until yget your sabre. W00t!
And Kylie Darklighter got elevated to the rank of Novice, for completion of her character history. Yaaaay!
SA Courses: Several Adian Griffin passed the Sith Flight Studies 1: ISET course, Link Vortex passed the IRC Basics and MSN Messenger courses, and Kylie Darklighter passed the IRC Basics course. Well done to all of you!

The Weird and Wonderful World of Your Aedile
meh. As I sit at my desk playing Final Fantasy 7 and writing this report, how futile it all seems life is but a frail illusion, coloured by the clouds of ignorance, intolerance and discrimination that we erect around ourselves ah well. In case youre wondering what that was all about- try my incredible anger at the results of the US Election. Congratulations, America youve just voted for another four years of torture, terror and bloodshed. You think Bush is going to make it all better for you no. If anything, he now has the undisputed ability to go into other countries and kill the inhabitants. Congratulations indeed.
Please note: I dont live in America. But the 2004 Election affected the whole world- we now have to live in fear of what the hell your President is going to do to us.
