Konnichiwa, meat puppets. Its that time again time for some serious pwnination courtesy of your mostly friendly neighbourhood Aedile. ^_^
Ah quite an eventful week, this. At least, my inbox would say so. The ungodly number of score submissions it has received mean that I cant acknowledge all of them needless to say, Lenzar and Jasru, you both kick some serious arse. Keep this up and youll both be swimming in Clusters of Fire. Oh, and a special mention also to PRT Volant, who also obtained several Clusters of Fire for matches played. Well done to all of you!
Now onto a more serious matter. Muz and myself have heard some dissention concerning our decision to rename the Avatars of Death Phyle in keeping with the theme of the other Phyles. This does not amuse us. We opened the discussion to the leading members of this House in order to get feedback from them in as democratic a way as possible. The topic was even put to the Phyle itself- so far there has been one response. One. Therefore I would like to propose an ultimatum- the members of the Avatars of Death have until Wednesday this week to reach a decision concerning the name of their Phyle. If none of you respond I believe it is only fair that we as the leaders of the House make the decision for you. However, I am open to suggestion- if anybody wishes to contact me so that this can be settled in private, feel free.
deep breath Ahh. And now to relieve the tension Competition Corner! The Aediles Fortnightly Competition ended some days ago- a medal should be on its way to the only participant soon. I actually submitted the request some time ago but the dude who approves them denied it for some reason, asking for the link of the competition. Weirdo. ^^ In other competitions- the Artisans comp continues, so make sure to submit to that. I personally am going to write something for it today if it kills me o_O Also, the ACC competition Dark Betrayal is still running. Jasru, you need to post something on that pretty soon. If you need any more comps to submit to, just go to the Competitions page and have a browse Im sure youll find something. ^^
Medals, Promotions, Random Gubbins
Ah. Big list this week. Medals: LOTS of Clusters of Fire awarded to Lenzar, Jasru and Volant I dont know exactly how many. But lots. ^^ And one also went to Tissaya. Yay Tissy! ^^ Lenzar also bagged a Legion of the Scholar for first place in the meeting trivia, two Stars of Antei for 15 or more wins during the Gaming Nights, a Crescent with a Sapphire Star for second place in the Interclub training event and two Dark Crosses for yet more victories. Blimey Jasru also obtained a Dark Cross for an insane amount of victories, and soon he should have a Crescent with a Sapphire Star for first place in the Aediles Fortnightly Comp. Congratulations, all of you!
Promotions: Morombath was promoted to Guardian for generally kicking arse, and for looking after his Phyle during Jacks absence. Jasru Lacka was promoted to the rank of Guardian for also kicking arse, and our newest member, Morgarth, was promoted to Novice for completing his character history. Keep it up, dudes
Random Gubbins: Link Vortex passed her Krath Grammar Studies and Jasru Lacka passed the Test of Endurance, having changed his order to Obelisk in order to focus more on the combat aspects of the Dark Brotherhood.
I think thats everything if I missed anyone, feel free to rant at me. ^_^
The Weird and Wonderful World of Your Aedile
Ahh I had a lie in this morning for the first time in ages. Woke up at half past ten, and I dont feel tired at all. Thats a nice feeling. And Im currently watching Equilibrium, borrowed off a friend at college damn, its a good film. Although Ive yet to come across the Samurai sword fight that the aforementioned friend promised me was present. Ah well if it doesnt show up I can always watch Zatoichi again. Damn, that is the best film I have ever seen in my life. The swordfights are incredible- and the blood spray is all done with cgi, so its almost like a spray of sakura blossoms floating across the screen when Zatoichi rips his sword cane out of someones stomach. Ah awesomeness.
In Conclusion
I must reiterate the point about not accepting insubordination in this House. If anyone feels that they are being treated unfairly, by Muz or by myself, they need only to email us to discuss it. Do I make myself perfectly clear? Excellent. Sayonara, maggots!
