Greetings, all.

My apologies for letting my reports slip the last

couple of weeks. It is that sort of thing I have

chided others about before, and so I am doubly

embarassed.

Both congratulations and thanks to everyone that took

part in the two-phased Clan Competition. As promised,

the winning entries are individually being summarized

and posted to the Clan website on the History page.

All summaries from thse competitions are to be

considered "canon" history for Clan Arcona.

The next Clan Competition will begin in January. It

will consist of both JA Duels and "Poetry" Duels. More

on this as we get closer to initiation, but start

getting your rhyming words ready if you don't have JA.

-=Clan Identity Month=-

Allowing for the upcoming holidays, school finals, and

various vacationing Dark Jedi, I have decided to cap

off the year by devoting the month of December to

"Clan Identity."

What exactly does this mean? Well, many of you are

aware of the drastic changes that have taken place in

Arcona over the last few months. The Houses have

become multi-ordered, leadership has changed greatly,

and the long war has many of us questioning the Clan's

direction.

So, December is your month to shine. I have tasked all

the House leaders to focus on activities and ideas

that will better establish each House's "role" both

within Arcona, and the DB Universe at large. This as

well means that all House members have the chance to

give their input, and potentially help set the course

for the future.

What new traditions have arisen in Oriens Obscurum,

formerly a House of Sith, now that Obelisk and Krath

are populating it? How do the Krath of Galeres shift

their outlooks when living in a House that was once a

factory of battle and war?

What role should your House serve? What should the

battleteams be responsible for? Think outside the box

and have some fun with it.

-=Master/Student Program=-

(First, big thanks to al'Lan for taking the initiative

on this one.)

Within the coming weeks we are (finally) going to

initiate a Master/Student program for Clan Arcona.

This will help with having new members interact with

the veterans, as well as groom our youngbloods for the

challenges of the future.

I think this is a valuable aspect to this club. I have

both been, and have undertaken, an Apprentice in my

time with the DB. It has been rewarding in many ways,

and I hope others will take someone under their wing

with this new program. As well as the friend you may

make, there will, of course, be medals given out to

both parties at the completeion of certain stages of

Apprentice advancement. Look for more info soon.

cannot be used in the ACC, but may be used

reasonably in fiction submissions) it will be useful
