Important Stuff
Konnichi wa, meat puppets. Its almost Christmas stay calm, and stay off the brandy. :D
In important stuff this week, much has been happening- for one thing, HMR won the Artisans competition, royally pwning HLKs backside with our godlike skillz. Ph34r. ^^ But it was pretty darn close, so props go to HLK as well for putting up a good fight. Pretty soon HMR should get a nice shiny new artefact to destroy things with its mine. All mine. . Well, okay, Ill let Muz use it as well. If hes good. ^^
Also, due to the pressures of time, Im drawing the Name That Ship! competition to a close so here it comes, the name of the new Assault Cruiser. drum roll . And the winner is Lenzar, with the name Astronicus Reach. A nice little reference back to our founder there- we like. Well, personally I would have called it Muramasas Blade, but feh aint my ship, its your ship. So from this moment onwards, our new Cruiser is called Astronicus Reach. Get used to it, peeps oh, and also on the ship front, we managed to nab that frigate that Jack spent so long finding. So the navy of Naga Sadow now includes the Foresight. Joy
Something else important. I just read the SHWs report hes offering 100 tournament points to the clan that has the most people submitting to that Sith Lords Reborn competition. I dont think its limited just to the Sith, so get scribbling! Surely we can make up a couple of fictitious Sith Lords and then, well get even more points to spend on making this clan an utter powerhouse when Rebirth rolls around. I want to see Naga Sadow back up there, kicking arse with the best of them- we cant let Arcona/Taldryan/Tarentum win all the time. dramatic music plays in the background It is time to show them the true mastery of the Sons of Sadow! We shall fight them on the beaches! We shall fight them in the streets! We shall not rest until we have conquered them!! deep breath So yeah, anyway. Go and like, do stuff. ^_^

Simply take a screenshot then send it to her once you get to level 2. Also, shes running a Christmas Gift List competition- check the competitions page for details. And of course, there are the KMTs and Character Development competitions and theres the Sith Lords Reborn comp! Write something for that so we can upgrade our new Assault Cruiser with some pimp hardware. ^_^
Medals, Promotions, Random Gubbins
Right. Here goes medals this week: Lenzar got a truckload of Crescents for the Artisans comp and another truckload of Clusters of Fire. And a Star of Antei for generally pwning the Artisans. I hope the Antei Medals Corp. can cope with you, Lenz last I heard they were running out of materials Also for the Artisans: Adian, Link, Tissy, Jack and myself all obtained various crescents for placing in various events. Well done us! Oh, and Tissy also got some Clusters of Fire for tournament playing. Phew
Now onto the promotion: Link Vortex was promoted to Guardian! Congrats, Link- keep it up! But only one promotion this makes Manji sad. You dont want a sad Aedile. ^_^
New members uhm right. Terrian joined us from the Rogues, then upped sticks and transferred to Ludo Kressh along with Cloud Arcanum. Ah well we also got a new member who will hopefully stay somewhat longer- APP Seferoph. No prizes for guessing the inspiration behind his name ^_^

Yeesh. For some reason unbeknownst even to myself, I agreed to do four hours of overtime this afternoon. Despite the fact that my college just broke up for Christmas dammit. Bah bloody humbug. Christmas annoys me, not because of all the jollity (okay, perhaps because of all the jollity and people using words like jollity. Grr.) but because its become such a corporate f**kfest. Its all about flogging crap to people too stupid to actually think that what theyre buying will last a day or two then be taken back to the shop. And guess who they bring it back to? Me. And I have to deal with them. Grrrr but anyway. Get drunk, insult Santa Claus when he crawls down your chimney, read Bobs hilarious letter to the fat man. Merry bloody Christmas to you all! ^_^
