Dark Renegade SGT Report #1

OK fellas, it seems that Rai has appointed me as the new Dark Renegade Sergeant ( I didn't think he was THAT stupid :P ) so it's time for my first report. yay

So, first things first. I'm OP Zacfer - a dedicated member to the brotherhood who seeks in bringing pride to.... blah bah blah. No - that's nonsense. I'm here for the same reason you are - to have fun. Most of all you shouldn't forget that. I'm here to help you get through your first steps in the DB. That means yeah, I'll be offering fun for you. Some of you already know me - points to the 2-meter Shistavanen Wolf. Now since there are many new or low-ranked members in the Battleteam I guess you'd all be a little bit lost.... but that's why we more experienced ones are here, to help you learn. So never forget this: Any questions you have at all, or anything you wish to talk about with me just mail me at [Log in to view e-mail addresses] . Whether you feel like talking to someone, need some help with the DB, suggest something for the Battleteam then the first you should do is send an e-mail to me.

And here comes the second part... How do we have fun in here? Well, some find fun in being little brats towards Rai and Malik... others like collecting pillows - points to Beowulf's collection of pillows (attention: lock your pillows somewhere safe, because there are furry thieves around :D ). But here's how most of us enjoy our time in the DB:

1) mIRC.

That's the very very first step. If we don't get to know you, we can't do anything. For those who don't know yet mIRC is a chatting program. You get in there with a nickname, join a channel and start talking with people. Come on in and check it out. I bet you'll love our warm environment... and get to know us, it's probably the best source of fun in the DB. 2) Competitions

DB Competitions is what keeps alive this place. There are many sorts of competitions as you have already noticed. I, as an Obelisk (yeah yeah I know all Orders can do anything they like nowadays), usually participate in JA related competitions. So I'm often found playing in the weekly gaming events (every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and in the bi-weekly Sunday tournaments). Look for competitions in leaders' reports and in the website.

Note: I'm accepting people for training in JA, don't forget that. Look for info in the e-mail I sent to Ludo Kressh some days ago. So if you happen to have the game and want to play, come to me and I'll show you a few things... actually more than just that :)

OK... now. There is still something left. I have to know who of you is actually alive and willing to have fun in the DB. That is why I will run an AWOL check. An AWOL check for those who don't know is a check to see who is indeed doing something in the DB or willing to do. So you have 2-3 weeks to reply to me ([Log in to view e-mail addresses]) with your ID Line and well a message saying you're there. If you don'r reply within the 3 weeks I'll send an e-mail to you personally and well after that if I get no response I'm afraid I'll have to remove you from the Battleteam.
