Herald Report

  • Site Reconstruction

I really didn't do anything to it this week. I still need to get an FTP program.

  • Grant Of Arms Requests

None were submitted or created this week.

  • Custom Lightsabers One was submitted by Spears (3305) and the one where the image was corrupt was resubmitted and attached, though DJB.COM seems to have a problem with the file and says it's not a JPG or GIF - but it is.

UPDATE: The corrupted image was uploaded again and for some reason now works.

Congrats to Zekk (1688)! None created this week.

The Longest Wait

Some people are just plain crazy. Check out the story on this guy. He's waiting in line for EIII tickets.

I'd call him a loser, but really - if you had NOTHING better to do, like... say... uh... Nah, he's a loser.

The Art(?) Of Star Wars

RoseArt, a company that makes various art-related supplies, is making a whole boatload of ROTS gear. Slated to hit shelves sometime in April - so you can finally have that General Grevious pencil you've always wanted.

The Farce Is Strong

In case you missed it, there was a Star Wars reference in the comic strip Foxtrot this week. Check it out here.

Battlefield Vietnam. I've been knee deep in the game since it came out, and now that there are five people in our fireteam it's a little better. Of course the server we all like to play in is riddled with people who do nothing but play BFV. Seriously, some of these poeple do not have jobs, and they play BFV all day long. They make the game not fun to me.

In other news, I am hoping for a weekend where I do not have to do anything. Maybe then I can finish off the little things I want to do.

BFV is awesome you will have to let me know where you guys play, I like to commit a lot of hours on that game.

Count in Animal Mother and his M60, too. :)

There are so many Full Metal Jacket and Apocalypse Now names used, as expected with it being a Vietnam game, that I rarely pay attention to people using Animal Mother, Pvt. Joker, Pvt. Cowboy, and the like. Still - it'd be cool to have actual dependable people on the other side of the screen.

We mostly play on ECGN #2. You can find me as =padre=... Other names of the guys that I run with are =ender=, A.M. Foxtrot, Mazer, and -Shifty-.

My nickname comes from BF1942, where I would always try to use the M7 Priest on any map that offered it. If you can follow the logic that on M*A*S*H they called the priest Padre, and since it's Spanish for father - a title given to priests - then it all makes sense, right?

Hope to see you out on the battlefield.
