YAAAAAAAAY!
I mean....YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!
Jac is back in black with a sack filled with cr...escents! (props Kaiann)
Ok now -- wow. Where in the hell did the last 3 weeks go. I dunno! They went
away like a f'in blink. I want them back damnit! I'm not ready for school to
start!
I am happy to announce this to you all: I finished my thank you cards within
8 days of Christmas. That is a new Jac record. Although -- just sending
thank you cards is a record in itself.
So where do I begin. My break was nuts, in a "my parents house was filled
with people, drama, and the flu for a period of two weeks" nuts. Too much
food...too many people...I felt crowded. That, and when my brothers come
home, I get ignored as the youngest again. :P Figures. I did make out pretty
well for christmas though. Got a new DVD burner, ROTK Special Ed., a griddle
(with a bacon heating compartment...i'm fat) and some other crap that I'm
sure you care not about.
So, now I'm back in c-bus and settled in. I've been working out again and
getting ready for school to start tomorrow. fun fun. er. not fun not fun.

Well -- it's good to be back. I'm feeling good about this year. There were
no big hassles over break, only a few people to yell at now that we're back.
I am slowly putting together the pieces to end up where I was before we
left. I was on a roll for a while, and I lost it. Oh well. I'll be back to
that point soon.
I hope you'll recall my last report where I talked about change in the new
year. I want to remind everyone that we need to all get better at the things
we do this year. I am constantly striving to be a better GM, and in order to
do that, I need help in the form of you striving to be a better you. If we
all can work and strive that we be the best, then the club will be working
on all cylinders, and we can get anywhere.
Think about that over the next week. Figure out where you need to improve,
and make a new years resolution to do it.

Just to go over the DC changes from last report:
The DC will follow the layout as is displayed in
[
this graphic](http://gm.darkjedibrotherhood.com/policies/DarkCouncilLayout.jpg).
The designation of Advisor is removed. All four positions (OCL, LA, LH, and
EMS) will have the equivalent stature as the traditional Main Body DC
members.
The Order Leaders are no longer outside the Main Body. They are now moved up
to the equivalent stature of the Main Body DC Members.
LA will be a position equivalent to other DC members, but under the
authority of the SCL still.
EMS is now officially situated over the Consuls as their true leader,
instead of an advisor.
The Society Leaders are situated in-between the Consul and Proconsul
positions, for a decent stature.
The DGM has authority over all positions but GM and JST.
JST has an implied authority over all positions.
LHoJ and RHoJ have authority greater than DC members in dealing with their
particular areas.
The Chain of command in the DC is discarded within the Council. The only
chain is Council Member -> DGM -> GM
Should both the GM and DGM be gone, the JST is in charge.
All DC members have authority over the others in regards to their particular
area of expertise. Where those areas collide, the DGM and GM will step in.
I will be updating the various documents to reflect these changes soon.
